The Slave Trade!

It nearly decimated an entire population but no one wants to talk about THESE slaves.

The forgotten white slaves!

And once again the English were involved in the trading of them long before blacks were enslaved by Europeans.  Men, women and boys... families separated by their British captors and sent to far away lands, enslaved by their new "owners". Beat, burned, beheaded, sold, resold, raped, abused, skinned alive, de-limbed, boiled... you name it, their owners did it to them.

The women separated from their children, their families and sent to brothels, sold to slave masters globally. Mated with unknown men to create a "new crop" of slaves, a new "slave generation", ensuring the slave trade continued for those who were actively invested in the trading and sale of slaves, of human beings.

And there's still no retribution! They're forgotten.

Yet, these slaves came from Europe... from the British Isles... from Ireland. Not from Africa. They preceded any hint of the African slave trade yet they're forgotten. They were sold to slave traders and slave "masters" throughout the world, primarily in the "new world", the colonies.
