His name? Bruce Maxwell. Yeah, I know, I never heard of him before either. Well, it appears he's made the headlines again with this latest bullshat.
By now we probably all agree he lied about being "dissed" at a restaurant by a waiter and he lied about being refused service for taking that knee. It's a fact that he concocted the "taking a knee" excuse for being refused service but that's all history now. Nope, we now know the truth is that his male companion was refused service of alcohol because his male companion didn't have proper identification. The self important Bruce Maxwell threw a tantrum and he and his male companion left the restaurant/pub after his male companion wasn't served a beer. Maxwell later concocted the "waiter was mad because he was taking a knee" story and was called out on it by those who dared doubt him. Of course, his version was only witnessed by him and his male companion. The rest of the restaurant/pub seemed to have witnessed the waiter's version.
But again, back to THIS story. It appears he was recently arrested again in October for alleged aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and alleged disorderly conduct. He's out on $10,000.00 bail which, where I come from is a felony bail amount. Evidently he was intimidated by a Geno's Pizza and Cheesecakes delivery lady who was simply delivering pizza to his home as he requested when he ordered it. He evidently shoved a gun in her face and kept it at ready throughout the delivery of the food he'd ordered. He also wasn't fond of the police who came to protect the public from his sorry arse. But cops, they have thick skin. They're used to the verbal and physical abuse tossed their way by wannabes and cowards.
Oakland A's, What a ROLE MODEL! It makes folks want to rush our kids and grandkids right over to the next major league ball game with those one time role models doesn't it?! America's Pastime? NOT! At least not anymore.
Nah... I'll pass.
