They're in place for our protection. They're there for the protection of our republic, our very existence yet we find them being used more and more against those of us who might have differences of opinions with our government rather than harboring any terrorist inclinations whatsoever.
Yes, those "anti-terrorism laws" are on the books and are being used against us. It's a subtle use for now but things will most likely change given the nationwide push to restrict or even abolish our Second Amendment rights, at least. The push to seize our guns, to restrict our access to ammunition and firearms components is a HUGE step towards complete control of us, the citizens and the proposed taxes. Given time, the implementation of those proposed additional fees on guns, components, licenses, ammunition, ammunition components will be instrumental in moving the gun "forfeiture" (seizure) effort forward to fruition. Oregon has once again tossed out Oregon Initiative 43, an initiative to the public calling for such a seizure. It's a "limited" seizure for now but it's still a seizure of firearms. When that occurs we'll be a conquered nation, conquered from within by those very people we elected into office who assured us they would protect our very liberties that they've targeted.
Our politicos are nothing more than pawns for their financiers and here's a hint, WE are not their financiers. They're not representing us, they're representing outside influences and their own personal greed.

Senator Ben Sasse?
"Nebraska Senator Ben Sasse is the media’s favorite “conservative.” He hates our POTUS Donald J. Trump. Or so it seems. I do know from what I've read that Sasse is not fondly thought of in Iowa though.
I never heard of the politico until NOW! Will someone please turn this thing off. He calls himself a conservative yet he's not about being conservative at all. He's a sell out to conservatives and is hell bent on destroying our POTUS Donald J Trump's blueprint for our nation's recovery from the past eight years of failed liberalism. In short, he seems to have a politico's deathwish re: politics.
Where does he get off telling us our POTUS Donald J. Trump isn't qualified for the job. What makes him think he, Sasse is?!
Ben Sasse is trying to build a name for himself. I don't think he meant to build this type of a name though or maybe, just maybe he's truly that naive or that stupid. Either way, he's not what should be considered a "leader" of our country in any sense of the word.
Sasse? He's just another self serving anti-Trump, anti-conservative politico hack who happened to scam some Nebraska voters into voting for him. He's made a mockery of Nebraska. Let's hope Nebraska wakes up soon.

McCain, the self serving politico.
I thought I put his latest sellout of us behind me but then I read the Drudge response on Twitter and the article I allude to below.
McCain's not in public service to serve the public. He's in public service to serve himself.
He's so much like his democrat sellouts. Corruption and self service evidently is the rule of the day for politicos. At least it's the order of the day for those politicos who are hellbent on destroying our country as we know it.
And McCain's right there with them.
McCain is a traitor to us and to his political "party". He's a leftist shill and always has been since he entered politics.
And to think there was a time where I defended him simply because of his military "service" record. Those days are long gone. He's revealed his true colors and they aren't pretty.
But then again we all kind of knew that already.
Good riddance McCain. Here's hoping your retirement is miserable.

John McCain's sellout vote...
I've let this whole McCain vote fester with the hope that my angst would subside and subsequently "go away". It didn't.
Personally, I don't like John McCain. Professionally, I despise the man. I find him a deplorable human being and pathetic, self serving politico. He's sold his soul to the politico devils in order to gain whatever he personally could over his entire political career. He hogged the hog trough.
There was a time when I thought he might, just might be a genuine human being seeking what is righteous and just for those of us who have to struggle in life from day to day simply to make ends meet. That time was fleeting. It went to the wayside fast.
The more I learned about McCain the more I despised the man.
In short McCain's a fraud. He's sold out his constituency and he's fed from the politico trough far too long. I'm thinking now that his time's so short he might have been a bit more reasonable and forgiving to folks like ourselves who work hard, struggle day in and day out for what we have, what we need. But now I'm convinced otherwise. I'm convinced McCain will go to hell just like the rest of his politico sellouts. His fortunes made off of our labors, our backs.
Here's hoping this cowards way of getting back at us, the people who voted for change in this country will be McCain's final parting shot!
His vote was not for or against health care. His vote was a self service vote against those of us who opted to "DRAIN THE SWAMP".... which we're going to do in spite of him. Undoubtedly he wallowed in the applause, the glow of his triumphant "return" to the Senate offered him by his fellow politicos while us peons watched from afar. Royalty in action- kowtowing to those who, like themselves survive from the blood, sweat and tears of others.
McCain has been and will always be a fraud. He's a self serving fraudster, a sellout to his constituency, to our nation.
May McCain rot in hell.

There's so much going on globally that's designed to benefit the elite, the politicos, those whose greed comes first. The Clintons overt sellout of our freedoms, our integrity, our honor, our very culture as a nation simply for the benefit of "the elite" isjust a drop in the proverbial bucket. Our POTUS Donald J. Trump is new to politics. He doesn't know any better... yet.
Well, our POTUS Donald J. Trump just had one helluva introduction to Politics 101 and he's still surviving.
Don't think for a moment that the whole political structure in this country isn't being manipulated, affected by the global politico community. It is! The argument is our POTUS Donald J. Trump better be a fast learner or he's going to be gutted and devoured by that global politico community, our politicos included.
Our POTUS Donald J. Trump doesn't know any better. Our POTUS Donald J. Trump isn't a politico, YET. Let's hope it stays that way.
That's why he's saying what's on his mind. That's why he's genuine, direct, frank in his discussions, his reactions. He has no time for the "kinder, gentler, more sensitive" approach. He calls things as he seems things and if he's wrong he'll back up, regroup and attempt to make it right.
THAT'S WHY HE WAS ELECTED!
But the existing politicos... locally, nationally and globally... well, they won't give him a second's notice before they pounce on him.
If I were the POTUS I'd wear their angst, their banter, their disdain, their lack of trust in him as a badge of honor. They're blatantly admitting that our POTUS Donald J Trump has no experience re: being a thief, a liar, a malcontent, a blight on society, a self serving public leach... I could go on but you get the idea.
They're admitting that POTUS Donald J. Trump doesn't know his way around the politico arena... locally, nationally or globally.
Hell! Trump said that himself!!! He told us that up front!
They're admitting that our POTUS Donald J. Trump isn't a member of their precious sorority, their "all about me" club. They're admitting that our POTUS Donald J. Trump doesn't fit in with them and their needs, wants, greeds. He doesn't share their lust for power, authority.
Nope. They're admitting that our POTUS Donald J. Trump is, well... just one of us... but with a helluva lot more money than us, as individuals. Which, quite frankly is why I voted for him. He was by far, without any doubt the best choice for me to make of the last two standing. He is just one of us...
Naivety, gut reaction, logic, experience and frankness seems to be the order of the day for our (so far) non-politico POTUS Donald J. Trump. I find that refreshing... refreshing as all get-out.
