If I Were The Devil

By Cheryl.

I don't know who Cheryl is but I had this post to the "Conservative Tribune" sent to me by an anonymous source. I can't access the comment section of the Conservative Tribune to post my comments there because, well... they use Farcebook and I've been banned from Farcebook twice now. Two different pseudonyms, both banned over the past decade and a half. So, though I have friends send me tidbits from other Facebook sites when they get the urge.

Here's Cheryl's revealing post "IF I WERE THE DEVIL". I don't know if it's and original of hers or not but I do know it's good.

The greatest achievement of the devil thus far is he has convinced the majority he does not exist.

If I were the devil...

If I were the prince of darkness I’d want to engulf the whole world in darkness, and I’d have a third of its real estate and four fifths of its population. But I wouldn’t be happy until I had seized the ripest apple on the tree: thee.

So I’d set about however necessary, to take over the United States. I’d subvert the churches first. I’d begin with a campaign of whispers. With the wisdom of a serpent I would whisper to you as I whispered to Eve, “Do as you please.” To the young I would whisper that the Bible is a myth. I would convince them that man created God, instead of the other way around. I would confide that what’s bad is good, and what’s good is square. And the old I would teach to pray after me, “our father which art in Washington...”

And then I’d get organized: I’d educate authors in how to make lurid literature exciting so that anything else would appear dull and uninteresting. I’d threaten TV with dirtier movies, and vice versa. I’d peddle narcotics to whom I could. I’d sell alcohol to ladies and gentlemen of distinction. I’d tranquilize the rest with pills.

If I were the devil I’d soon have families at war with themselves; churches at war with themselves; and nations at war with themselves; until each in its turn was consumed. And with promises of higher ratings, I’d have mesmerizing media fanning the flames.

If I were the devil I would encourage schools to refine young intellect, but neglect to discipline emotions; just let those run wild, until before you knew it you’d have to have drug-sniffing dogs and metal detectors at every schoolhouse door.

Within a decade I’d have prisons overflowing; I’d have judges promoting pornography. Soon I could evict God from the courthouse, then from the schoolhouse, and then from the houses of Congress. And in His own churches I would substitute psychology for religion and deify science. I would lure priests and pastors into misusing boys and girls—and church money.

If I were the devil I’d make the symbol of Easter an egg, and the symbol of Christmas a bottle.
If I were the devil I’d take from those who have, and give to those who want it, until I had killed the incentive of the ambitious. And what’ll you bet I couldn’t get whole states to promote gambling as the way to get rich.

I would caution against extremes, and hard work, and patriotism, and moral conduct. I would convince the young that marriage is old fashioned—that swinging is more fun. That what you see on TV is the way to be. And thus I could undress you in public, and I could lure you into bed with diseases for which there is no cure.

In other words, if I were the devil I would just keep on doing what he is doing.

The Clintons, Suitcases Full of Cash and the Russkies!

Folks can say what they want about the Clintons and their (alleged, wink-wink) illegal activities but they're very good at what they do in that arena. Or so I used to think.

They just might have let their greed get the best of them this time.

Remember that little "Uranium One" situation they seem to have got themselves into. Yeah, you know the one where they allegedly (wink-wink) made big bucks on the sale of our uranium to Russia via an alleged shell corporation?

Well, it seems a fellow named William D. Campbell, a past lobbyist for a "Russian firm" and a self admitted undercover operative for the Justice Department has somehow obtained and retained videos and other information detailing "briefcases full of cash" that were allgedly intended to be transferred between Russia to the Clintons.

Like all good undercover operatives Campbell's ready to close the deal on this particular investigation. He's all set to step up and testify to the information he obtained while working as an undercover operative.

“(H)e gathered so much information, there are videotapes where the Russians are opening up briefcases full of cash — these are the people that we then gave uranium to, that we then gave nuclear fuel contracts to,”

"Those briefcases of cash may have been part of a larger money laundering and payoff scheme designed to put cash in the pockets of the Clintons and other officials in return for political favors to Russian firms."

I can't seem to help thinking there might be something going on here that's not all that kosher. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Here's hoping none of the witnesses commit suicide in the next several months while this investigation runs its course.

In the past it seems to me that those who were set to testify against or otherwise crossed the Clintons in the past seem to have met with tragedy in one form or another. Just sayin'

Be careful out there folks.

Our POTUS Donald J. Trump is new to politics. He doesn't know any better... yet.

Well, our POTUS Donald J. Trump just had one helluva introduction to Politics 101 and he's still surviving.

Don't think for a moment that the whole political structure in this country isn't being manipulated, affected by the global politico community. It is! The argument is our POTUS Donald J. Trump better be a fast learner or he's going to be gutted and devoured by that global politico community, our politicos included.

Our POTUS Donald J. Trump doesn't know any better. Our POTUS Donald J. Trump isn't a politico, YET. Let's hope it stays that way.

That's why he's saying what's on his mind. That's why he's genuine, direct, frank in his discussions, his reactions. He has no time for the "kinder, gentler, more sensitive" approach. He calls things as he seems things and if he's wrong he'll back up, regroup and attempt to make it right.

THAT'S WHY HE WAS ELECTED!

But the existing politicos... locally, nationally and globally... well, they won't give him a second's notice before they pounce on him.

If I were the POTUS I'd wear their angst, their banter, their disdain, their lack of trust in him as a badge of honor. They're blatantly admitting that our POTUS Donald J Trump has no experience re: being a thief, a liar, a malcontent, a blight on society, a self serving public leach... I could go on but you get the idea.

They're admitting that POTUS Donald J. Trump doesn't know his way around the politico arena... locally, nationally or globally.

Hell! Trump said that himself!!! He told us that up front!

They're admitting that our POTUS Donald J. Trump isn't a member of their precious sorority, their "all about me" club. They're admitting that our POTUS Donald J. Trump doesn't fit in with them and their needs, wants, greeds. He doesn't share their lust for power, authority.

Nope. They're admitting that our POTUS Donald J. Trump is, well... just one of us... but with a helluva lot more money than us, as individuals. Which, quite frankly is why I voted for him. He was by far, without any doubt the best choice for me to make of the last two standing. He is just one of us...

Naivety, gut reaction, logic, experience and frankness seems to be the order of the day for our (so far) non-politico POTUS Donald J. Trump. I find that refreshing... refreshing as all get-out.

health care reform???

I was reading some health highlights for December 11, 2009 today and there was this one particular highlight that bothered me a lot...

"Senate Bill Would Let Insurers Limit Annual Medical Costs

Patient advocates are upset about language in the Senate health care bill that would allow insurers to put yearly limits on medical care costs for people with expensive-to-treat illnesses such as cancer.

The bill would permit annual limits, as long as they're not "unreasonable," the Associated Press reported. But there's no actual definition of what level of limits would be permitted.

Such limits would have been banned under legislation passed by the Senate health committee last summer. However, a weakened version of that provision is in the bill the Senate is now considering.

The change surprised officials at the American Cancer Society Action Network, who said they haven't been able to get a satisfactory explanation, the AP reported.

"We don't know who put it in, or why it was put in," said group policy expert Stephen Finan.
"

The current health "care" discussions and proposals happening in the "other Washington" are really, really catching my eye. I'm not sure where anyone else stands relating to the proposed health "care" reform ideas being debated in this country but I think putting yearly limits on payment for care paid out by the insurance companies smacks of favors and sellouts to those companies. I'm of the belief that if there are to be any limits placed on anything relating to health care have those limits be for payouts relating to litigated monetary awards and settlements! Certainly not on yearly limits of those health care costs an insurance company pays out annually.

That's just another not so subtle attempt to create those alleged death lists. Cutting off care for the terminally ill or others in need of specialized care simply because it's too expensive isn't and should never be an option!

That IS unreasonable!

As the AP article mentioned, those limits were banned by last summer's legislation and now the politicos are trying to sneak it past us again in this boondoggled universal health care fiasco.

What gives? Why are our "representatives", those politicos we sent to D.C. to represent us... why are they trying to ram this legislation, this poorly written vessel of pork down our throats?

If there's to be universal health care do it right! Take your time, don't set a timeline on it. Gather your experts, your reasonable and practical people together (if they exist) and create a proposal that not only makes sense but can be fairly and reasonably applied to every citizen of this fine country without limitations. If you can't do that then get out of the way and let others do it. Don't do what you're doing! Don't piecemeal something together, don't cater to the special interests of lobbyists, insurance companies and the health care industry, don't play politics with our health... don't effect change just to effect change... it doesn't make sense.

Represent us, the citizens of this fine country who entrusted you to represent us not them, those who stand to gain politically and monetarily if or when the legislation passes.

This stuff simply makes no sense outside of greed!

Bailed out and on the lam!

So Norman Hsu is a free man again!

He had his bail reduced enough so he could pay it (a cool million... don't expect THAT money to be going to anyone's campaign) and high tail it to parts unknown! (Wink, wink)

Yah, parts unknown... lol. How funny! A fugitive again.

This time he's hiding!

Some folks think he's back in his native home, Hong Kong. You know, that city in China that just keeps pumping out corrupt and less than scrupulous folks. It's been doing it for decades!!!

I find it more than just a little odd that the Chinese nationals and Hong Kong business representatives are elbows and knees deep involved in our United States politics... in the selection of our next president of the United States, among the elections of other politicos at ALL levels of government.

Has someone overlooked China's "reclamation" of Hong Kong? Has someone overlooked the very real possibilities that those Chinese who are raising funds for the dhimmicrats are most likely not as loyal to our causes as they are to, well... maybe China's causes.

Hmmm. Let's see. The bulk of the funds Hsu's raised for political contributions during these past several years are going to the dhimmicrat, Hillary Clinton. You know... Hill, the wife of Bill, our ex president and strong ally of China.

Hillary's the one who reduced the size and effectiveness of our military back in the day of Bill. Well, she did it through Bill. After all, a husband who's been getting it regularly on the side is going to do whatever he can to placate his wife after she discovers his many affairs, eh?

But I don't think that's the whole story behind this China, Clinton, dhimmicrat, ally thing. I'm thinking it goes back quite aways... at least to the early 1980's, most likely well before that.

In short, China found our achille's heal and has tapped into it. The dhimmicrats are beholden to the almighty dollars that China has routed into their campaigns and China, through it's agents is trying to assert it's political influence, political clout into the selection of our next president much like it did when Bill was elected.

If the dhimmicrats win then the markers will be called in one by one.

It's not the first time China's pretty much had it's way with us. There's already history of sellout to China by a previous Clinton regime.

It's pretty pathetic... politicos doing whatever they're told just so they can get another almighty buck. The politicians in this country are money grubbing whores on a global scale.

They'll sell us out to win an election!

So, Hsu's allegedly "back home" in Hong Kong. I wonder how long it will be until we hear he's "committed suicide".

I mean after all, he did let a lot of his compatriots down for all of the wrong reasons. His private, greedy little swindles brought the Chinese connections back out of the shadows again.

Isn't it odd that it just happens to be another Clinton and the dhimmicrats who were benefitting from the bulk of Hsu's "fund raising" activities.

Can we say "snookered"... again?
