I borrowed this from Martin Glynn's post. I inserted my information in it before posting it here.

Which unit is more historically prestigious, the 101st Airborne or the 82nd Airborne? How different are their missions and training?
The 82nd Airborne Division is more historically prestigious. The 101st is just more well known to the American public because of the “Band of Brothers” mini-series and because everyone likes their “Screaming Eagle” shoulder patch.
The 82nd served in World War I as the 82nd Infantry Division. Sergeant York of the 328th Infantry Regiment was its most famous Soldier in that conflict.
In World War II, the 82nd Airborne Division was the Army’s first Airborne Division. It served in North Africa, Sicily and mainland Italy in addition to Northwest Europe, and made four combat jumps. The 101st served only in Northwest Europe, and made two combat jumps.
The only combat veteran unit that jumped into Normandy was the 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment of the 82nd, which was also the only regiment that took all of its assigned objectives before H-Hour, when the regular infantry divisions hit the beaches. That’s where it earned its regimental motto, “H-Minus.”
During the Battle of the Bulge in late 1944, the 101st got a lot of publicity for holding the town of Bastogne in Belgium until General Patton’s Third Army rescued them. The media was focused on them, because the 101st was almost destroyed. Meanwhile, the 82nd was stopping the advance of Kampfgruppe Peiper of the 1st SS Panzer Division.
Since WWII, the 82nd served in the Dominican Republic, Vietnam, Grenada, Panama, the Persian Gulf War, Haiti, Bosnia, and in the Global War on Terrorism in Iraq and Afghanistan. It also made another combat jump into Panama in 1989.
The 101st served in Vietnam, where it was taken off of jump status in 1968. It also served in the Persian Gulf War, Haiti, Bosnia, and in the Global War on Terrorism in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The 101st still maintained a few small units, such as a Pathfinder Detachment and a Long Range Surveillance Detachment, on jump status for quite a while, but most of the units in the 101st haven’t been Paratroopers for over half a century.
As an ideal situation, I’d like to see the Army maintain the 82nd as its East Coast Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, NC, and put the 101st back on jump status and move it to Fort Lewis, WA to be the West Coast Airborne Division. That’s not likely to happen anytime soon though, and until then, the 82nd is a Paratrooper unit, and the 101st isn’t.

You "screaming eagle" folks don't kill the messenger. When I enlisted I went directly to basic training in Ft. Polk, Louisiana (June-August, 1972) and to Jump School at Ft. Benning, GA (September, 1972). I was assigned to the HHC 4/68th Armor as a 17K2P and later to the 2/504th. Infantry, 82nd ABN. I made several jumps... chopper blasts, C-130s and more... loved it! ...and all for a fat $35.00 of hazardous duty pay a month on top of my pithance of a salary as a spc4. I still loved it but, the pay sucked.
Just thought I'd share...

BRAVO! for the retired police captain! I retired after 40 years of law enforcement. I started as a rookie cop fresh out of the Army in 1975 and retired as a Law Enforcement Chief 40 years later. Though I’ve had my moments on the job I don’t believe for a moment this can’t happen to me or others like me at any given moment. I carry daily. I can’t imagine how this retired captain felt when those idiots decided to prey on him. All I know is the fellow who wrote the article was pretty tongue in cheek and seemed to slight the captain for refusing to become a willing victim of an armed robbery at least. BRAVO for that captain. If you willingly become a victim then expect to be the victim and whatever goes along with that label… this captain opted to take the fight to the bad guys. No problem there. Good for him. He has the ability and he knows his limits much more than this article’s author. Our society is pretty full up on willing victims these days. It’s a target rich environment out here for these punks and pukes who are wanting and feel entitled to everything we might have simply because we have it and they want it.

As I mentioned, Facebook suppresses Tom Fitton and Judicial Watch: Via Tom Fitton: “Facebook began suppressing and censoring" his posts on the same day the Biden White House announced its censorship program to pressure Facebook and other Big Tech companies to censor and deplatform conservative Americans." I think not! After the obvious suppression of "Judicial Watch" Fitton has joined Parler and Rumble. Fitton and those associated with him have encouraged those of us who followed him before to follow him at "Judicial Watch" to stay updated on the latest news they have--

Biden's Latest!

I'm making a reference to Biden's latest run on executive orders that was published in The Republican Wire recently. I tried to provide a link to it in this post but it wouldn't work for some reason.

As usual, Beijing Biden’s doin’ the bidding for Beijing. He’s rendering us
penniless and in need of imports from…. ready for it?

CHINA! Socialism is on it’s way… real time. Don’t think for a fleeting second
that biden’s writing those “executive orders”! I’m going to go out on a really
sturdy limb here and suggest he has absolutely no idea what’s in those executive
orders he keeps signing. In fact, he even stated as much. Nah, ol’ slow joe has
no idea what he’s doing, let alone is he able to pretend to know what he’s
doing. The fool’s embarrassing at best. Entertaining in a sick, sordid way. But,
it’s disgusting how the left, his handlers openly prey on his inability to
govern. He’s their closet puppet, they’re his puppeteers. Sad.

And now, because of his idiocy our local mom and pop’s stores are already having
one heckuva time keeping up with the biden constraints… AND it hasn’t even
really got to the real shutdowns and global price hikes yet. Yup, so much for
our industry, so much for our retailers, so much for our infrastructure… we’re
doomed if we get another four years of this leftist regime with their puppet on
the string in 2024. The best thing we can do now is hang on, quit buying foreign
stuff and wait it out until November, 2024. Face it, the biden camp is in the
capitol and there’s nothing we can do but evict them in 2024. Then we can regain
our nation from the grips of global socialism.

IMHO

TRUMP2024! VOTE2024!

Oh, as a side note I got this "Your comment is awaiting moderation", a usually
endless "moderation" on that particular site. Hence, that's why I brought this
info over to here. I truly doubt my comment will pass the Republican Wire's muster. It might
but most online "Republican" sites aren't all that interested in true
conservative's opinions or comments anymore. I truly believe they've been sucked into the liberal vortex that's obviously destroying anything conservative.

LIFE.I've been watching, listening to and reading a lot of the news over the past couple of years. News that I normally wouldn't have read as much of back "in the day" when I was still on the "job". Lately the news has provided me with one helluva lot of entertainment. Entertainment in a good and a bad way. "Good" because the scabs, the wounds of our society are being exposed and tended to, good or bad. Tended to via liberal rants, ultra left tantrums and blatant global propaganda that folks are gnawing on every waking moment of the day, some admittedly "dreaming" it. "Bad" because that exposure opened and continues to open up old wounds, resurrecting those bogeymen, the nightmares of life, of change that were once buried and nearly forgotten. Now we're being assaulted from within by an old adversary, liberalism, socialism. Liberalism's relenteless lust for socialism is most definitely upon us. I'm no liberal, never was, never will be. I'm not fond of over the top liberals but I can and do tolerate and interact with those liberals who maintain somewhat of an open mind. I'm of the opinion that the liberal crowd as a whole isn't intentionally destructive, hateful, bitter throughout their existence but hey, let's face it, they're pretty dad-gummed annoying at times. Well, quite often, lately.

But then again, I'm a conservative.

I was raised by conservative parents. My brother's and I started working for and earning what we needed and wanted at an early age. My parents were all about making sure we knew we had to work for what we want, what we think we might need. They wanted us to learn that there's no "free ride" in life, to love and protect our own and our country and to help our neighbor whenever possible. In the end, I think it's all shaking out. They (my parents) were right, as in correct, ONCE AGAIN. May they continue to rest in peace.

I've been thinking things over as of late, especially since those dreaded "elections" where (to me, obviously) the fix was in before the votes were cast (IMHO). I actually thought our nation, our government was above the fraud of politics but hey, that's me. I was evidently naive enough to think our country wasn't vulnerable to the third world politico ruses. Boy, did I learn my lesson. Nearly seventy years of life in me and I'm still learning. Now that's a refreshing thought even though the lesson(s) tend to be hard lessons learned. At least the ol' brain's still active.

I used to trust folks for what they say they are. I used to believe in right (as in correct) and wrong. As mentioned, we were raised that way... sometimes taking a lick or two to learn and remember the difference. This day and age I wonder. I truly wonder if folks actually know the difference. I'm not ranting here, I'm just having a conversation with myself on this particular blog. I'm "talking" to no one but myself. Judging from the number of visitors I've had over time that's a pretty accurate assessment of my activity (ies) here. This blog being my online personal echo chamber of sorts.

So, I guess where I'm going with this whole rant is that I too, will get over this. Somehow, somewhere. I won't last long, if at all as a socialist citizen. I'll always be some agent of dissent to a socialist government. That's a given. Dad always told me to question authority. He'd encourage me to question it if I didn't agree or didn't understand. He did, so I do. He's gone now but he survived the fighting in a horrendous world war, he maintained a career in a totalitarian military environment and he and my mother raised a family of boys and lived over eighty long years without having to wholly succumb to what our government is now telling us we have to succumb to, socialism.

Like it or not, agree with me or not but that's what I believe is happening to us, our country, our Constitutional Republic, our very existence. I can't help but feel I've somehow, some way failed to do all in my power to protect my family, our nation. But time's most definitely not in my favor to do much about it now...

I'm not good to go with that. Not at all. Somehow, some way this nation will continue to persevere with or without me. I'm hoping we can move past these chaotic times before I punch the proverbial clock.

May God Continue To Bless America, our Constitutional Republic.
It looks like quid pro quo Joe and his offspring are still lying about their little shenanigans in the Ukraine. It also looks like the Ukrainian judicial folks are a bit curious, if not miffed re: Biden's previous lies.

Here ya' go... enjoy the read. It's revealing. Nothing really new other than the whole quid pro quo thing seems to have been resurrected regarding ol' Joe and his son.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Judge in Ukraine Orders Biden Listed as “Perpetrator of Crime” in the Corrupt Firing of Investigator Going After His Son
May 21, 2020 editor

The Joe Biden-Ukraine drama is reaching a fever pitch. The twists and turns are piling up so quickly, we can hardly keep up. While Joe Biden may have the Democratic presidential nomination all sewn up now, that does not mean that he is out of the woods yet. Biden’s efforts to force out a chief prosecutor who was not doing his bidding have come to light.

All those who tried to deny what had taken place probably feel pretty foolish at the moment. Things are heating up in Kiev as we speak. District Court Judge S. V. Vovk has made a major decision that should have Biden and company sweating. The chief prosecutor that he forced out, Victor Shokin, is now being listed as a victim of crime.

The perpetrator of this crime? None other than Biden himself. The Prosecutor General’s Office and the State Bureau of Investigations had already been ordered to look into the case. They wanted the claim from Shokin to be fully investigated and here we are. Shokin was let go because of his willingness to investigate Burisma Holdings. This is the company that was employing Biden’s son Hunter at the time.

The ruling orders “a competent person of the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine who conducts procedural management in criminal proceedings No. 62020000000000236 dated February 24, 2020 to enter information into the Unified register of pre-trial investigations … a summary of facts that may indicate the commission of a criminal offense under Paragraph 2 of Article 343 of the Criminal procedure code of Ukraine on criminal proceedings No. 62020000000000236 dated February 24, 2020, namely: information on interference in the activities of the former Prosecutor General of Ukraine Shokin, Viktor Mykolaiovych performed by citizen of the United States of America Joseph Biden, former U.S. Vice President.”

The judge added, “the order of the court may not be appealed.”
Read the full document

The court found that there was more than enough evidence to investigate the matter. This should not come as a surprise to anyone who has been paying attention since this case began to unfold. Petro Poroshenko was the president of the Ukraine at the time and he was the recipient of the Joe Biden shakedown.

He was told that the United States would be withholding at least $1 billion in aid if he did not comply with Biden’s request. If all of this sounds an awful lot like what Donald Trump was accused of during his impeachment hearings, you are not alone. It’s funny how the leftists have not been nearly as loud about this one, though.

Biden’s unlawful interference is finally being investigated at long last and not a moment too soon. He’s had quite the eventful campaign run, hasn’t he? There are credible sexual assault allegations being made against him and he’s also in hot water for these shady dealings in the Ukraine.

This is a major about face for the Ukraine, as they were previously unwilling to list Biden as the perpetrator of the crime. Vovk has changed the tide by altering the ruling. He said that the initial listing that did not provide a perpetrator was not proper. That’s why you are seeing Biden’s name listed as the perpetrator now.

It took a decent amount of time but it seems like justice may finally be served here. This court order is also not eligible to be appealed so we are definitely wondering how Joe Biden plans on wriggling his way out of this jam. Oleksandr Ivanovych Teleshetskyi has been hired to serve as one of Shokin’s legal representatives and he confirms that the ruling has been made.
If not for Viktor Shokin’s continued willingness to pursue this case, we wonder what would have actually happened. Even his own attorney believes that the change was made as a direct result of his words. This saga has been dragging on for years now. It also played a major role in the Democratic impeachment proceedings.

The videotape is out there and it’s going to be tough for Biden to answer for this during his campaign. He is trying his best to concoct a good lie but no one is going to believe a word he says. Biden really wants folks to believe that he was not withholding federal aid for the most obvious reason of all. Instead, he is trying to make the world think that Shokin was fired from his post for legitimate reasons.

He said that Shokin was not good enough at combating corruption. If anyone would know about that, it would be him. Shokin’s court affidavit on the matter says otherwise. Why would this man be motivated to sit in a court of law and lie about what we all know took place? The United States State Department even sent him a letter the year before he was fired to let him know what an awesome job he was doing when it came to corruption.

You just can’t make this type of stuff up. Joe and Hunter Biden both acknowledge that there are things they should have done differently. That’s what makes this continued pursuit so interesting. There may be even more to the story that we have not heard yet. According to Shokin, the best is still yet to come.

You do know that ex Senator Joe Biden is running for the office of the President of the United States don’t you? He’s running against our current President, Donald J. Trump. POTUS Donald J. Trump is seeking his second and final four years as our President this November, 2020. Biden's the only candidate running against him, this Joe Biden guy that the left, the democrat party and the obama’s global elites are supporting. It's going to end in failure for them. Biden will not see the inside of the White House again unless he attends Trump's re-election celebration.

That given, I was browsing through one of my usual morning internet reads when I came across some interesting “facts” regarding ol' Joe. The "facts" were culled from Biden’s recent speeches by someone, somewhere who painstakingly went through the transcripts of those Biden speeches and gleaned the gems that I listed below from them. Biden's comments, they're a bit troubling at best.

Why won't Biden be elected? Let's take a look. Somewhere in these Biden gems lies an answer. There has to be a reason the likes of Obama and the rest of the over the top liberals and democrats are toeing the Biden line for POTUS. It can't be that they think he can actually win the race can it? I mean, really, the guy's losing his mind… IMHO

SO LET’S TALK BIDEN…
Here’s some of Joe Biden’s quotes from speeches he made over the past several years, from the recent past through today. Yeah, I "double dog dare you" to read this list (there’s far more floating around) and tell me with a straight face that ol’ slow Joe’s a viable candidate for the office of President of the United States. If you agree with Joe being a viable candidate for president then you’re either lying to yourself, you’re naïve, an idiot, insane, a blithering lunatic or you’re simply evil and want to watch the man fail as his brain rots, for your sole enjoyment.

NAH, ol’ slow Joe isn’t POTUS material. He needs to retire and step away from the microphone unless he’s going to go on tour as a standup comedian or the likes. Even then I wouldn’t pay to watch the fool make a bigger fool of himself. However, don’t believe me? I can't make this stuff up. It's the best of what the left has to offer. Here’s a few of his “truths” that he’s hyped over the past couple of years. Especially while trying to convince you to vote for him as POTUS during this upcoming 2020 election.

Let's get on with the Biden's nuggets of wisdom, shall we?

<b,i>FROM THE MOUTH OF BIDEN!</b,/i>
"BIDEN: "Um, you know, there's a, uh, during World War II, uh, you know, where Roosevelt came up with a thing, uh, that, uh, you know, was totally different than a- than the- it's called, he called it, the, you know, the World War II, he had the war- the War Production Board."

<i,b,u,>Here’s a few more...</i,/b,/u>
BIDEN: Recently announced “I think we can win back the House”
BIDEN: Promised to ban the “AR-14.”
BIDEN: Mistook Super Tuesday for “Super Thursday”
BIDEN: Forgot the words of the Declaration of Independence, saying “We hold these truths to be self-evident. All men and women are created, by the, you know, you know the thing.”
BIDEN: In South Carolina, misstated what office he was running for, declaring “My name’s Joe Biden. I’m a Democratic candidate for the United States Senate.”
BIDEN: On three occasions last month, declared he was arrested in South Africa trying to visit Nelson Mandela in prison — an incident his campaign later admitted never happened.
BIDEN: Earlier described meeting a Navy captain in Afghanistan, but The Post reported that “almost every detail in the story appears to be incorrect.”
BIDEN: Claimed to have worked with Chinese leader “Deng Xiaoping” on the Paris Climate Accord (Deng died in 1997).
BIDEN: Claimed during a debate that “150 million people have been killed [by guns] since 2007” (which would be nearly half the U.S. population).
BIDEN: Said he met with Parkland victims while he was vice president even though the shooting took place after he left office.
BIDEN: Has declared that Democrats should "choose truth over facts” and that “poor kids are just as bright and just as talented as white kids.”
BIDEN: Pledged to use biofuels to power “steamships.”
BIDEN: Repeatedly gets confused about what state he is in.
BIDEN: Called well known “Fox News Sunday” anchor Chris Wallace “Chuck”
BIDEN: Said his late son Beau “was the attorney general of the United States”
BIDEN: Confused former British prime minister Theresa May with the late British prime minister Margaret Thatcher.
…and oh-so-much more! Simply put, any one of these gaffes by themselves would be nothing more than that... gaffes, misstatements. However, taken together they form a pattern and raise serious questions about whether Biden has experienced a cognitive decline."
If you don’t like these factual excerpts then do your own research and get back to me and I'll make any changes I feel are relevant. In a way, I’m really hoping these “gaffes” have been fabricated simply out of pity for Biden… what little I can muster. I mean, these are just the tip of the long, increasingly bizarre Biden iceberg of “gaffes”, idiocy.
Biden, retire with the little bit of dignity that you have left. Please. But wait until after the election. IMHO
My comment.

“Ah, yeah... I can see the democrats, the liberals are still butt-hurt over losing the 2016 elections. They're not going to pass any bill, anything that's going to favor the majority of the citizens, voters who voted for our POTUS Donald J. Trump. They're doing everything they can do to fight our POTUS every step of the way as he progresses through his presidency and prepares for his second term. To the left, the democrats it's not about the good of us, the citizens, the good of our country. Nah, it's more about themselves. Their liberal agenda that they've been trying to install into our lives over the last couple of decades at least. They want socialism... plain and simple. They want it and they want it now. They don't want a conservative, constitutional republic. Not anymore, though I doubt they ever did. Liberals are "all in" for social control. They want to establish our daily lives in the way they believe we should be living them, NOT how our forefathers directed and certainly NOT how we choose to live them. They're all about a heavy handed guv'ment and absolute control of our daily lives. All of these "anti-Trump" tantrums they're pulling are designed specifically to weaken our own base, those conservatives who are already beginning to crack, beginning to show signs of acquiescing to the left's "cause" simply to shut them up, to appease the left's global handlers.

Nah, this isn't about "the good of the people". It's about the left's lust for installing socialism as our form of government as soon as they possibly can. And that "possibly can" passed them by in the 2016 elections. The left, the liberals had the politics behind them, they had the "votes" to install their government and were well ahead of the vote game until it came down to "We, The People". We, The People tossed both major political parties on their heads and voted to maintain our Constitutional Republic's continued governance of this, our mighty fine United States of America regardless of what the global politico community preferred, prefers.

I'm truly hoping We, The People will once again vanquish the liberal threats and choose our nation's Constitutional governance again in 2020 rather than succumb to the left's incessant demands and choose their chosen path of socialism, their Marxist, Leninist, Cloward-Piven driven agendas. Needless to say, if they can't win us over this time they'll find a way to invoke their agenda via the "legislative" process that will follow the election.

Prepare for little, if anything to get done between now and November's election. The left's agenda is clear... disrupt, delay, deny, destroy any attempts by our chosen government, the conservatives, led by our POTUS Donald J. Trump that would otherwise ensure our constitutional republic lives on.

No, they're not going to work together with our conservative base for the benefit of our country. No, they're not going to move our constitutional republic forward to ensure our independence, our self governance, our very way of life is protected and ensured into the next generation as our fathers and forefathers and founding fathers have done before them. Nah, the left, the democrats and their fellow non-partisan liberals will be hell-bent for election to get their socialist agenda(s) established into our system. They will not cooperate with our chosen conservative government, those who represent us and our constitutional republic's progression, continued growth into the future. Nah, the left's backs are to the wall and they're pulling out all stops, playing every card they can, stepping on any toes that might get in their way... their backs are to the wall so they're making their final push to ensure they "get their way"...

We can't let them do that. The Pelosi's, the Bidens', the Shumer's, the Watter's, their ilk... ALL of them. They're in this fight to win and they could care less about what we, the people want for our government, our nation... us.

In a scant eight months we'll be committing our votes as citizens, voters of a Constitutional Republic to paper to determine if we collectively choose to remain a Constitutional Republic that would be relatively free, independent of abusive, intensive, politically inclined governance.

I hope and pray I'm not of the minority. I fear for our country. For the first time in my long, long life I genuinely fear for our country, our freedoms.

I, for one will defend my constitutional rights that are assigned to me via our constitution and our Founding Father's visions. I will not submit to a socialist agenda, nor anything other than short of what our fore-father's intended.

This whole situation, all of these "distractions", our failed government, the lack of leadership that we've been subjected to by our separate houses of government has to end. We, the people need to ensure our nation prevails as the constitutional republic it was intended to be. We the people control our government, the politicos work for us.
It's a great, "telling" meme that shows how the pampered, the pompous politicos in our country believe they know better than us regarding our firearms, our Second Amendment rights. They're naive at best, totally ignorant and over the top conceited at least if they think they know how we should live our lives and raise our own children.
This Mikey BLOOMBERG idiot's truly a fool!

My brothers and I were raised around guns. Guns, firearms were tools to us. We'd hunt our game, we respect the power, the limits of our firearms and we managed their use, their care. The first pistol I ever fired was a model M1911, Dad's. I was a very young fellow, well before my teens when Dad took "us boys" to a local gravel pit to "shoot some guns". I remember Dad showing me how to grip the gun, putting my little hands in place the best he could and him standing behind me with his hand hovering over the pistol while allowing me to squeeze the trigger. I remember the feeling when the round discharged. Dad's hand kept the 1911 from knocking me senseless with its recoil. He said I "hit the target" (to this day I have to take his word for it) but either way it was a great education. We each had a shotgun and a long rifle of our own on or before we turned 13 years old. We were "plinking" with bb-guns and .22 rifles before we were given our "bigger" guns. According to Dad our 13th birthday was the day he'd hand us our first rifle. Mine was a Winchester '94. Later, when I was old enough my Dad took me to SeaMart and I paid for my first rifle myself, an old German 8mm Mauser with a shorter, smaller stock. That was my primary hunting rifle for quite some time.

A couple of years later, when I was a scant 18 years of age I was invited and did join the United States Army. In June, 1972, three days after I graduated from High School I was standing in some semblance of a formation at Ft. Polk, Louisiana. Lined up and ready to serve my country for the next three years, at least. Nah, I doubt Bloomberg ever took a step outside of his little, spoiled rich, spoon fed, silver lined life. But, I could be wrong... I doubt I am.

Bottom line, my father, brothers and I, my friends included... we all hunted and fished for a lot of our food throughout our lives and somehow we managed to make it well into our 60's and 70's without being shot by any errant rounds or accidents associated with the mishandling of firearms, guns.

Either way, Bloomberg needs to shut up and quit trying to force his pompous, silver spoon "values", "morals", "life" on the rest of us... IMHO.
I remember things were most definitely turning "anti-American" (as we knew it) in the 60's and kind of "mellowed" in the early 70's but the rift was still there through the 70's and into the 80's at least. The sad thing is that the liberals really seemed to catch on to the whole leftist movement and they continued to assert their multiple, varying agendas... into everything in earnest. In some places those "agendas" were adopted, quite often with tongue in cheek, wait and see implementations while others were "all in", "hell bent for" implementations. Either way, the conservatives in the country were taking a beating. After the dust settled we, the United States of America's conservatives came out of it with admitted losses to the left yet, we still retained many, if not most of our conservative values that we had in the 50's. Albeit, many of those values were diluted somewhat via the global elites push towards liberalism, socialism.

"Fast forward" to today. There's seemingly no end in sight to the liberal's goals. With each passing day I see another tacit "assault" on yet another one of our society's conservative "values", "icons"... Each year I see another inch of "ground, values" of conservative ideals ceded to the liberal movement. The liberals successfully argued that those conservative "ideals" lacked practicality for the period. I never bought off entirely on their "arguments", their liberal "movement" at the time but hey, I'm of the minority, or so it seems.

The liberals chinked and continue to chink away at our conservative culture one brick in the wall at a time. Lately their effort is beginning to show, to bear fruit for them. Are we as conservatives tiring of this endless fight, this never ending battle to retain our conservative values? Is it just me who sees what I believe is happening to our country, our society as a whole? Am I wrong to question the liberal's influence regarding our politics, our culture? I don't know society's 'preferred' answers to those questions but I'm assured I have been and still am on the right track, unless otherwise proven wrong.

As a conservative I question what's considered "conservative" today, given the liberal dilutions in the past and those proposed for the present, near and far future.

Conservative "values"? They're a huge stretch from what they used to be.

IMHO
Trump, against our country, our Constitutional Republic as we know it!

What follows is information provided to a Twitter queen, Tracy Beanz that was included in her exchange of tweets with a seemingly reliable, credible (but anonymous-to us) source of information. It's all relative to the "Whistle Blower" situation our government is experiencing right now. This series of TWEETS between these two journalists seems to clearly lay things out re: the most recent Ukraine fiasco and the left’s rush to “get-r-done”! The left, they’re on full damage control, code red press.

Little do they know the dems, the left have been played… again.

As mentioned the information/exchange was received by Tracy Beanz in a series of tweets. I copied, pasted the tweets to this blog and restructured them to narrative form.

Here’s the Tracy Beanz lead in to the information without any edits other than the removal of hyperlinks from the exchange.
"Many of you know me well by now, and you know that I wouldn't share what I am about to share unless I was CONFIDENT that the source could be trusted. Before I post this, I want to let everyone know that I trust this source implicitly. I was given this information several days ago.

Since receiving it, a number of wheels have already begun to turn which validate many of the points. The person got a bit of a bug and was sick for several days, but today provided me with a shareable write up. It is very clear. I don't need to add anything.

As always, use your own discernment. I have used mine, gotten permission, and decided I am absolutely comfortable posting this. Please read and share should you find it valuable. What follows is directly from my source.

“Much of this seems to be in motion given recent events”

And here's the information sent to Tracy Beanz via a series of tweets.

"DISCLAIMER: I am not an insider. I work an interesting job that has afforded me two luxuries: the time to dig/research/analyze/contextualize and discern what I believe to be truths about our world, government, and intelligence agencies; and the opportunity to talk to a lot of interesting people with diverse experiences in everything from the mundane to the … spooky, even paranormal. It was through some of these contacts, most established well before the events of 2015-2016, that my attention was drawn to the whole SpyGate saga in the closing months of 2016. Since that time, these sources have provided me with valuable context, confirmation, and – when needed – the debunking of my own theories and analysis of a very tangled web of spies, G-men, politicians, and their praetorian guard. While I have developed several excellent sources who’ve proved their reliability and honesty over many conversations, none of these sources claim to have every answer, or to know every detail. Despite their access and professional duties, which outrank my own, they ultimately are not calling the shots. Online I’ve operated under a strict Open Source policy. While I often entertain speculation, my own analysis and writing has always relied upon OS information rather than “trust me, I talked to an insider and this is what they say” approach to make my case.

That, to me, is the most helpful way I can contribute. Which is why I hesitated to share any of this initially. This update is entirely anecdotal. Take this however you wish, it’s not meant to be a prediction only a reporting of the feelings of several individuals with direct knowledge of the SpyGate investigation. None of them are Trump, or in his closest circle, so ultimately none of them are in “the room” when the big decisions are made. Still, in the week it’s taken me to get this out, several events have transpired which have confirmed at least portions of what I was told. Which is what always happens when these people feed me information or nudge me to look in a certain direction.

So let’s get to it.

At the start of September I was asked to make a trip to DC to meet in person with several of my best sources. Most of these sources are/had become friends, so a request to come out wasn’t unusual.

SHIFTING FOCUS OF THE ROLL OUT:

Much of our time was spent discussing the Ukraine, specifically the role of the State Department. Names like Nuland, Kerry, Clinton, McCain and others were discussed at length. I was told that the attention and focus is going to start to shift from the DOJ/FBI to State. This is because the FBI/DOJ side is just about ready to roll in terms of disclosure/indictments, but State is a different beast. According to what I was told, “the legal pathway to the biggest fish goes through the State Department and starts in the Ukraine. According to our discussions, the Ukraine was going to come into major focus because both sides of the establishment aisle got dirty in the Ukraine and left themselves exposed. It’s a “pathway” to the Clinton machine, the Soros machine, the neocon machine, the neoliberal machine – not to mention organized crime in both Russia and our own.

*Note: This update was compiled on the 20th of September for reference. A bug knocked me on my ass – which delayed it going out.

That’s regrettable only because of the week’s events regarding the Ukraine. It’s a bit of confirmation of the above. NOT WITHOUT CONCERNS: For the first time in any of our discussions over the past several years, I detected some concern on the parts of the grunts in the field.

The concern is not in being able to make the cases (most have already made), but in what the fallout will be once the partisan politics of the moment are inserted into the whole concoction. This is important, so I want to expound as much as possible on this point. On prior occasions, the discussion of how to avoid using any of this as a political weapon in 2020 had been brought up.

In the past I was made to feel confident that the goal was not partisan but to actually clean up real problems within our system. I DO NOT BELIEVE THIS HAS CHANGED. On this trip I was told, explicitly, that “Trump and Barr have the establishment’s nuts in a vice” – not just SpyGate plotters, and not just our domestic establishment. I was told due to events in 2017 and into ’18 they now have more evidence than they originally anticipated when “the op” (their words) was put into motion. They expected to catch certain fish in their net – and did – but through events which I cannot get explicit about, a “treasure trove of shit” was uncovered/discovered which now allows them to go all the way up the chain in multiple 5Eye countries.

Now – this sounds GREAT, right? And it is. I am fully in support of exposing the whole sorted lot of snakes and believe, fully, that the people sharing this information with me want nothing more as well. BUT there is a concern – and it’s this: How much can be exposed without undermining and imploding the very republic they’re trying to preserve? That’s always been the big question – but now there’s genuine consternation about it. This isn’t about protecting institutions, it’s about “what happens after you pull that pin?” I took all this talk as a bad sign at first. It was the first time they had talked about any hesitation to “go too far”. But over the course of the conversation I was reassured.

Will touch on this at the end.

Apparently there are now two camps chirping in “the boss’s ear”:

1) those urging caution and taking the easy shots (the low hanging DOJ/FBI fruit – names we know but NOT the lieutenants or cabinet level), and
2) those who want to expose it ALL, consequences be damned.

Almost everyone I’ve spoken with is in the latter camp, and they all believe the boss is too – but it’s clearly a conversation being had amongst those doing this work.

Here’s the rub: there’s not enough time between now and 2020’s election to get the job done. So how much justice can be doled out without falling into the trap of it all being painted as political persecution by the establishment media? (Note: Again, just look at the Biden/Ukraine story which broke after I returned).

The consensus from these people used to be: “we need to get this all out before the 2020 cycle truly begins to make sure it happens”, and now there is at least a portion of them urging Trump to stretch out the indictments/disclosure over the next 10 months to score the maximum political impact because A) the cases are strong enough to sustain it and a second term is needed to complete the job.

I was reminded that if the internal debates are now about how to best roll out this evidence to secure 2020, then the cases they have must be locks. They wouldn’t risk the political spin unless they knew they had the cases cold, especially the advisors thinking in terms of re-election. /END

Beanz note: I wouldn't have shared this if I wasn't SURE I could trust my source. I am, and so I did. I am but a vessel. Take this as you may.. Thanks guys!

A quick note by Beanz on Beanz' last thread

ADDENDUM: the responses to this have been interesting - from pessimistic and angry to hopeful and excited. Many people aren’t reading the thread carefully and lots of people are mad at me for what it says. Journalism isn’t holding things back so people feel better. It’s dropping it all even if you perceive it as painful, which some of you do. If I had hidden or held any part of this for the sake of feelings it would have been just like what we deal with now. People are going to have to get used to hearing hard things sometimes, and also reading and responding carefully. Don’t jump to conclusions etc. I will never edit something so people feel better. I’m sorry. Not happening. It’s the truth or nothing. This was what I was given.”#
You're back with me, BwaHa now. I'll go back and try to find the original article so you folks can do your own research but the information above is a true and accurate post of the exchange of tweets between Beanz and her "informant".

In our country, the United States of America, as long as our government continues their move to the left our rights will continue to be scrutinized, targeted for change, diluted and subsequently destroyed. Leave it to the left, those who wish to disarm us to ride the tsunami of any global tragedy involving the use of firearms. The most recent? The Christchurch, NZ mosque shooting. An event perpetrated by a group of madmen! I’ve copied a url from a comment to the Kiwi Farms website (which, by the way has little, if anything to do with New Zealand other than the name of the site.) The New Zealand police sent a letter to the site's webmaster "Joshua Moon" thinking the site was somehow connected to New Zealand. It's included in a link below. Note the tone of the letter and the tone of Moon's curt but appropriate reply. There’s already rumblings within our borders for the separation of our fellow U.S. citizens and the rest of us from our rightful ownership and possession of firearms. Not to mention the wholesale dissolution of our right(s) to defend ourselves against aggression as a United States citizen in our grand United States of America.

As usual, the global elite, the global left (including members of our own government whose allegiance falls with the global elite) won’t "let a crisis go to waste” in the recent, horrible mass shooting at the mosque in Christchurch, New Zealand. The crisis in New Zealand hadn't ended before our Second Amendment rights were being attacked yet again by our politicos, the global elitists and those special interest groups within our borders who have so much to gain by separating us U.S. citizens from our right to possess and if need be use our personal firearms for self preservation.

New Zealand's government is seeking personal information from global internet sites regarding their citizens. That's troubling at best but it's certainly nothing new. Undoubtedly, all governments across the globe are doing this personal information mining regarding their respective citizens. It's a given, if we use the internet we're announcing our beliefs, our thoughts at the time to the whole world... or at least to those who wish to read them. As the sole "owner" of this particular site I will not knowingly nor willingly release any personal information to the government without just cause (i.e. court order, legal requirement).

It appears there's at least one webmaster who has the same outlook.

Here’s a simple notice on what the police believed to be a New Zealand website that I read earlier today. It’s evident New Zealand’s parliament is ramping up for what appears to be a total gun confiscation and control effort. Expect a more urgent push by those on the left here in our United States of America and those representing the global elite for similar gun confiscation and/or control... in effect, a continuing effort to separate U.S. citizens from our Second Amendment rights at least. The rest will fall later.

Meanwhile, for my KIWI friends who do happen to drop by and read this from time to time. If you're New Zealand gun owners you need to Take Notice!!! And for those of us in our grand ol' U.S. of A??? well, you know what's most likely going to spin off of this tragedy here in our country... it's emboldened the left and their relentless attempts to separate U.S. citizens from our second amendment rights.

I’ve borrowed the link referred to above from the New Zealand Farms website. New Zealand? It's fairly evident judging from the information contained in the official letter to Joshua Moon by the NZ authorities that your government is tracking you. The government's letter to Moon regarding his particular website acknowledges you're being tracked. But, then again every other government in the world is most likely tracking their respective citizens, including ours here in America.

In the end much of this post is in response to gun control on a global scale. In particular, government mining of personal information from the internet much like New Zealand’s government requesting information from ISPs and others relating to New Zealanders use of the internet. The New Zealand guv’ment wants to track and monitor their citizens online activities subsequent to the Mosque shooting in New Zealand.

Why make that tracking any easier for them. Follow the advice give by "Joshua Moon" the New Zealand Farms webmaster.

Oh, and Moon's response was epic.

IMHO of course…
A Disturbing Comparison. If you're living in the United States of America, if you're a resident of the United States of America then you should be able to identify the comparison regarding Rome's subsequent demise and what's currently occurring in the United States of America.

Here's the short and long list of contributors to Rome's demise. I did a quick Google search and came up with many sites that suggested the same eight things that happened in Rome which subsequently led to Rome's demise as an empire.

Here's the short list.

8 Major Reasons Why The Roman Empire Fell

1. Invasions by Barbarian tribes
2. Economic troubles and overreliance on slave labor
3. The rise of the Eastern Empire
4. Overexpansion and military overspending
5. Government corruption and political instability
6. The arrival of the Huns and the migration of the Barbarian tribes.
7. Christianity and the loss of traditional values
8. Weakening of the Roman legions

And here's the long list. I'll provide the link here.

8 Reasons Why Rome Fell
Find out why one of history's most legendary empires finally came crashing down.
Evan Andrews

1. Invasions by Barbarian tribes

The most straightforward theory for Western Rome’s collapse pins the fall on a string of military losses sustained against outside forces. Rome had tangled with Germanic tribes for centuries, but by the 300s “barbarian” groups like the Goths had encroached beyond the Empire’s borders. The Romans weathered a Germanic uprising in the late fourth century, but in 410 the Visigoth King Alaric successfully sacked the city of Rome. The Empire spent the next several decades under constant threat before “the Eternal City” was raided again in 455, this time by the Vandals. Finally, in 476, the Germanic leader Odoacer staged a revolt and deposed the Emperor Romulus Augustulus. From then on, no Roman emperor would ever again rule from a post in Italy, leading many to cite 476 as the year the Western Empire suffered its deathblow.

2. Economic troubles and overreliance on slave labor

Even as Rome was under attack from outside forces, it was also crumbling from within thanks to a severe financial crisis. Constant wars and overspending had significantly lightened imperial coffers, and oppressive taxation and inflation had widened the gap between rich and poor. In the hope of avoiding the taxman, many members of the wealthy classes had even fled to the countryside and set up independent fiefdoms. At the same time, the empire was rocked by a labor deficit. Rome’s economy depended on slaves to till its fields and work as craftsmen, and its military might had traditionally provided a fresh influx of conquered peoples to put to work. But when expansion ground to a halt in the second century, Rome’s supply of slaves and other war treasures began to dry up. A further blow came in the fifth century, when the Vandals claimed North Africa and began disrupting the empire’s trade by prowling the Mediterranean as pirates. With its economy faltering and its commercial and agricultural production in decline, the Empire began to lose its grip on Europe.

3. The rise of the Eastern Empire

The fate of Western Rome was partially sealed in the late third century, when the Emperor Diocletian divided the Empire into two halves—the Western Empire seated in the city of Milan, and the Eastern Empire in Byzantium, later known as Constantinople. The division made the empire more easily governable in the short term, but over time the two halves drifted apart. East and West failed to adequately work together to combat outside threats, and the two often squabbled over resources and military aid. As the gulf widened, the largely Greek-speaking Eastern Empire grew in wealth while the Latin-speaking West descended into economic crisis. Most importantly, the strength of the Eastern Empire served to divert Barbarian invasions to the West. Emperors like Constantine ensured that the city of Constantinople was fortified and well guarded, but Italy and the city of Rome—which only had symbolic value for many in the East—were left vulnerable. The Western political structure would finally disintegrate in the fifth century, but the Eastern Empire endured in some form for another thousand years before being overwhelmed by the Ottoman Empire in the 1400s.

4. Over-expansion and military overspending

At its height, the Roman Empire stretched from the Atlantic Ocean all the way to the Euphrates River in the Middle East, but its grandeur may have also been its downfall. With such a vast territory to govern, the empire faced an administrative and logistical nightmare. Even with their excellent road systems, the Romans were unable to communicate quickly or effectively enough to manage their holdings. Rome struggled to marshal enough troops and resources to defend its frontiers from local rebellions and outside attacks, and by the second century the Emperor Hadrian was forced to build his famous wall in Britain just to keep the enemy at bay. As more and more funds were funneled into the military upkeep of the empire, technological advancement slowed and Rome’s civil infrastructure fell into disrepair.

5. Government corruption and political instability

If Rome’s sheer size made it difficult to govern, ineffective and inconsistent leadership only served to magnify the problem. Being the Roman emperor had always been a particularly dangerous job, but during the tumultuous second and third centuries it nearly became a death sentence. Civil war thrust the empire into chaos, and more than 20 men took the throne in the span of only 75 years, usually after the murder of their predecessor. The Praetorian Guard—the emperor’s personal bodyguards—assassinated and installed new sovereigns at will, and once even auctioned the spot off to the highest bidder. The political rot also extended to the Roman Senate, which failed to temper the excesses of the emperors due to its own widespread corruption and incompetence. As the situation worsened, civic pride waned and many Roman citizens lost trust in their leadership.

6. The arrival of the Huns and the migration of the Barbarian tribes

The Barbarian attacks on Rome partially stemmed from a mass migration caused by the Huns’ invasion of Europe in the late fourth century. When these Eurasian warriors rampaged through northern Europe, they drove many Germanic tribes to the borders of the Roman Empire. The Romans grudgingly allowed members of the Visigoth tribe to cross south of the Danube and into the safety of Roman territory, but they treated them with extreme cruelty. According to the historian Ammianus Marcellinus, Roman officials even forced the starving Goths to trade their children into slavery in exchange for dog meat. In brutalizing the Goths, the Romans created a dangerous enemy within their own borders. When the oppression became too much to bear, the Goths rose up in revolt and eventually routed a Roman army and killed the Eastern Emperor Valens during the Battle of Adrianople in A.D. 378. The shocked Romans negotiated a flimsy peace with the barbarians, but the truce unraveled in 410, when the Goth King Alaric moved west and sacked Rome. With the Western Empire weakened, Germanic tribes like the Vandals and the Saxons were able to surge across its borders and occupy Britain, Spain and North Africa.

7. Christianity and the loss of traditional values

The decline of Rome dovetailed with the spread of Christianity, and some have argued that the rise of a new faith helped contribute to the empire’s fall. The Edict of Milan legalized Christianity in 313, and it later became the state religion in 380. These decrees ended centuries of persecution, but they may have also eroded the traditional Roman values system. Christianity displaced the polytheistic Roman religion, which viewed the emperor as having a divine status, and also shifted focus away from the glory of the state and onto a sole deity. Meanwhile, popes and other church leaders took an increased role in political affairs, further complicating governance. The 18th-century historian Edward Gibbon was the most famous proponent of this theory, but his take has since been widely criticized. While the spread of Christianity may have played a small role in curbing Roman civic virtue, most scholars now argue that its influence paled in comparison to military, economic and administrative factors.

8. Weakening of the Roman legions

For most of its history, Rome’s military was the envy of the ancient world. But during the decline, the makeup of the once mighty legions began to change. Unable to recruit enough soldiers from the Roman citizenry, emperors like Diocletian and Constantine began hiring foreign mercenaries to prop up their armies. The ranks of the legions eventually swelled with Germanic Goths and other barbarians, so much so that Romans began using the Latin word “barbarus” in place of “soldier.” While these Germanic soldiers of fortune proved to be fierce warriors, they also had little or no loyalty to the empire, and their power-hungry officers often turned against their Roman employers. In fact, many of the barbarians who sacked the city of Rome and brought down the Western Empire had earned their military stripes while serving in the Roman legions.

It’s Time to Remember
(again)...

Remember when Donald Trump was business partners with the Russian government and his company got $53 million from the Russian government investment fund called Rusnano that was started by Vladimir Putin and is referred to as "Putin's Child?'
Oh wait, that wasn't Trump; it was John Podesta.

Remember when Donald Trump received $500,000 for a speech in Moscow and paid for by Renaissance Capital, a company tied to Russian Intelligence Agencies?
Oh wait, that was Bill Clinton.

Remember when Donald Trump approved the sale of 20% of U.S. uranium to the Russians while he was Secretary of State which gave control of it to Rosatom the Russian State Atomic Energy Corporation?
Oh wait, that was Hillary Clinton.

Remember when Donald Trump lied about that and said he wasn't a part of approving the deal that gave the Russians 1/5 of our uranium, but then his e-mails were leaked showing he did lie about it?
Oh wait, that was Hillary Clinton and John Podesta.

Remember when Donald Trump got $145 million from shareholders of the uranium company sold to the Russians?
Oh wait, that was Hillary Clinton and the Clinton Foundation.

Remember when Donald Trump accepted millions in donations from Russian oligarchs like the chairman of a company that's part of the Russian Nuclear Research Cluster, the wife of the mayor of Moscow and a close pal of Putin's?
Oh wait, that was the Clinton Foundation.

Remember when Donald Trump failed to disclose all those donations before becoming the Secretary of State, and it was only found out when a journalist went through Canadian tax records?
Oh wait, that was Hillary Clinton

Remember when Donald Trump told Mitt Romney that the '80s called and it wanted its Russian policy back. The Cold War is over?
Oh wait, that was Ayatollah Zer0bama.

Man, Trump's ties to Russia are really "disgusting!"...*NOT!!!!!!!*
The left? They're not even trying to hide their desire to destroy our Republic. They've openly proposed a consortium of sorts with the global elite, or vice versa, given the current political climate, globally.

In short, the agreement suggests that those who are hell-bent on denying us our Second Amendment rights, those who seem to believe the First Amendment applies only to them... those who kept us in check for eight long years (and more, if you count RINOs) are now openly planning a coup d'état for our 2020 elections should our duly elected and sworn POTUS Donald J. Trump win and/or not concede the election, regardless of any determination of fraud or otherwise?! Isn't this some sort of collusion towards a final effect of treason? Their fall back plan suggests that if the majority makes a decision in 2020 to re-elect our POTUS Donald J. Trump and the minority doesn't agree with that decision then the minority will openly collude with others to prevent the likelihood of our duly elected and sitting POTUS Donald J. Trump from assuming office for a second term as POTUS in 2020, however they can. Regardless of legalities and regardless of the will of the majority. The very fact that this whole scheme is being posted as a hot topic on the internet suggests the global elite owns the left. But then, many of us already knew that. The global elite, the left is pushing for the termination of our republic. They want socialism, at least. They want us to be the crown jewel of socialist states that make up the globe... we, the citizens of this mighty fine United States of America will not benefit from this treasonous act, should they prevail.

Simply put, the global elite, the left have their plan in place. I have no doubt that their votes are being purchased and/or otherwise secured as I write this. It's probable that many of those votes were purchased quite some time ago via long term "contracts". The left? They will not lose the 2020 election!

The left is emboldened!

The media is owned by them, our education is owned by them, our health care is owned by them, our economy is owned by them, our day to day lives are already falling under more of their control, constraints effected by the left, our personal communications and our recreational activities are being controlled and/or determined by the left, many of our citizens and politicos are owned by them and arguably the polls and voting machines are owned/controlled by them... it goes on from there. This "coup"? It's here already but the roots just aren't deep enough for the left to feel that level of confidence they think they should feel before they make their final push. They're predictable because the left is comprised of the cowards, the leeches of our society, leeches of the globe and though they have their plan(s) and though their foundation is in place they're still the cowards they were and will always be. Folks, this latest push is a hue and cry from the left for them to muster their spineless trolls together and try to effect some sort of a coup d'etat should the 2020 election run contrary to their manipulated, planned and expected end results. When our POTUS Trump gets re-elected we should expect a wholesale coup. RINOs and Demoncrats will circle their wagons and destroy our republic as we know it, if they can. And these leftist fools aren't even beginning to disguise their efforts or plans anymore which makes me wonder who the fools truly are, us or them. They're emboldened by their global handlers.

The Kool-Aid's kicking in for them.

That socialist politico Alexandrea Ocasio Cortez and her idiot relatively unheard of (until now) co-signer, Ed Markey co-sponsored a bill that demands our attention! Don't think for a moment it will "die in committee". Don't make that assumption. That's how this crap gets through our congress... apathy and simply ignoring this stuff for what it truly is... idiocy.

It's not about green, it's about control. Total control! Here's a link to their wholly outrageous and absurd "plan" to get a bit more control of our lives. These two idiots (and those who support them) aren't making anything better by insisting we live according to their "agenda". Try your best not to be fooled. If you're inclined to sign on to this crap pull your head out of your arses and take a breath of fresh air for once. This is not a "Clean Air" plan, it's a blatant grab for total control of our everyday lives.

This is straight from the socialist doctrines throughout the world.

Many thanks to the UK's Daily Mail for the article referred to above. I preferred to use their link simply because they're "from the outside looking in" and can truly appreciate just how insane this liberal, socialist Orcasio-Cortez and her co-signer Ed Markey's "plan" truly is. The whole "green" agenda is a facade. It's become nothing more than a vessel to acquire a stronger socialist footprint in our country. And it works on the brain dead liberals.
From the information gleaned out of a GunsAmerica Digest publication documenting the incident it appears the man identified as Gary J. Willis and his family were awakened at 0500 hrs. by loud knocking on his door. When Willis opened the door he was armed with a pistol and was met by at least two individuals who were armed and appeared to be law enforcement officers. Willis placed his pistol on a table as the officers entered his home. The two officers advised Willis that they had a court order to confiscate his firearms and were there to seize them. A struggle ensued between the officers and Willis. Willis reached for his gun and the weapon discharged. No one was injured.

While at least one officer continued to struggle with the Willis, the other officer shot and killed Willis. The reason for shooting Willis, the Second Amendment advocate? Willis had access to a gun and the pistol was previously discharged during the struggle. Now, having been in law enforcement for quite some time myself I can understand the need to separate Willis from his pistol and I'm not going to second guess the other officer regarding his response that resulted in Willis' death. There appeared to be a struggle between his partner and an armed individual, a shot was fired, the second officer responded with what he felt was the force necessary to neutralize the threat. In this case, lethal force.

I question the underlying reason for the officers being there in the first place. They're on site to prevent a United States citizen from exercising his Second Amendment rights via a poorly drafted, difficult to enforce "Red Flag Act" law that serves to water down and streamline laws already in place that make the forfeiture of our constitutional rights a government necessity... in the protection of the public. Yeah, right.

The reason for the confiscation order issued by the court? This whole "RED FLAG" ruse? A disgruntled close relative allegedly served as an affiant to the police, suggesting her relative, Gary J. Willis was a danger to society and needed to have his firearms removed from his realm of control via the "Red Flag Act". The very same "Red Flag" law that's being introduced throughout the states. Based on the "witness'" declaration local law enforcement received via the relative they subsequently obtained that fatal court order to seize the firearms of Gary J. Willis, the now deceased homeowner/second amendment advocate.

This "Red Flag Act" is coming to our neighborhoods sooner than you think unless we start demanding our government leave our constitutional rights alone! All it takes is one disgruntled family member or "close" friend or disgruntled neighbor to suggest we, those of us who are gun advocates, Second Amendment advocates pose a serious threat to society. The law will be used to separate us law abiding second amendment advocates from our second amendment rights.

Read the link provided in the text and take it from there. 1984, George Orwell, Machiavelli, Cloward-Piven? Call me a conspiracy theorist if you will but hey, I spent a long career in law enforcement and government. I wouldn't put anything past our liberal polticos these days.

Enforce the laws that are already in place! We don't need to nor should we create new ones to accommodate the politicos incessant need to "legislate" us.

We need to protect our constitutional rights!

IMHO
"Absolutely!

It is Democrats a.k.a. "Social Justice Warriors" who are the ultimate hypocrites & racists who label minorities, both black & brown, like me losers at birth because of the color of our skin, as if stamped on our foreheads.

It is they who view us as “LESS THAN” in every imaginable way simply because of the color of our skin. We are less intelligent, less industrious, less ingenious, etc. & in doing so, it is they who seek to destroy us from birth.

It is they who will remind me, for the rest of my life, that I will forever be a victim of “white people”/“white privilege” & that they are responsible for any/all of my failures at any/every point in my life.

They will repeatedly remind me that I am entitled to welfare, food stamps, affirmative action, etc. & that I will always be entitled to a free college education & job whether I am qualified or not thanks to quotas because of the color of my skin rather than because of my intelligence, qualifications, abilities, & talent.

Truth be told, it is Democrats a.k.a. "Social Justice Warriors" who belittle, degrade, demoralize, insult, & victimize me on a daily basis!

While my parents pushed me to get a good education, work hard, & reach for the stars with regard to what I could accomplish in life, Democrats a.k.a. "Social Justice Warriors" were telling me that the best I could hope for was government dependence thus I was destined to live on the Democratic Poverty Plantation where the government determines your worth (based on what they dole out), where you can afford to live, & what you can afford to buy.

Tell me, what’s the difference between the Democratic Poverty Plantation & a Zoo????

Democrats a.k.a. “Social Justice Warriors” claiming to be the champions of the poor, middle class, American working families, & minorities like me promise equality via “redistribution of wealth” a.k.a. “Socialism” from those they refer to as the “greedy rich” while they themselves serve as the instrument of their destruction as they continue to bend over backwards to provide the “greedy rich” with the cheap labor/new customers (subsidized by our taxpayers) that they seek.

Theft, redistribution from others does not even begin to replace all that the Democrats a.k.a. “Social Justice Warriors” have stolen from me. It does not replace my honor, integrity, pride, self-respect, self confidence, etc. thus their idea of equality & mine differ.

In my opinion, it is simply a win-win for Democrats at the expense of others. Millions of loyal supporters (slaves) living on their Poverty Plantations, millions more from 3rd world nations they seek to add to the plantation, & the loyalty of the “greedy rich” who benefit most from the cheap labor (slaves) & new customers, subsidized by our own taxpayers, they seek.

Democrats are absolutely dividing our citizens based on race & pitting us against each other.

Without perpetual "victims", of their creation, there would be no need for Democrats a.k.a. "Social Justice Warriors"!
They initially denied the fake news allegations but in the end the evidence was overwhelmingly against them. In all fairness to the Chronicle they called in Pulitzer Prize winner David Wood to review the allegations made by the public against the Chronicle's Austin Bureau Chief, Mike Ward. The reviewing editor discovered that many of the Ward's "sources" didn't seem to exist anywhere on earth. Even though Ward's work suggested many of those "sources" who he claimed and declared in many of his articles he wrote were refutable sources that corroborated his extremely pro-left, biased reporting they weren't real sources after all. They were simply figments of his imagination. The Houston Chronicle's Austin Bureau Chief, Mike Ward was subsequently "let go" by the Chronicle.

Here's the article
, it's a good read if you like to read about how the left manipulates unsuspecting or sometimes willing "News Media" outlets.

This seems to be the continued biased left's way of insuring we're being spoon fed their liberal agenda. Hat's off to the Houston Chronicle readers for calling them out on their faux reporting. In short today's just another day in liberal frenzy land.
I normally don't post about actors, actresses... thespians- those who are pampered and catered that live amongst us but, I can't help myself here. Alec Baldwin... yeah I know, I know... "Smart Alec" Baldwin... he's evidently a liar AND a fool. He was recently arrested for assault by NYPD. Of course, Baldwin not only suggests no "assault" took place but he's chastising those in the press who would suggest such a thing. Even though he was detained, arrested and subsequently charged with assaulting a Boston Marathon bombing survivor for "taking his parking space" in a friggin' parking lot.

Yeah, the privileged... the Alec Baldwins of the world... they're fun to watch. The New York City Police Department did their part and arrested Baldwin now let's see what the New York City's judicial system will do to the prima donna. Will they charge him, will they try him in an open court, will the prosecutors agree to a plea, will the charge(s) be dismissed? It's going to be interesting. But then again anything "Baldwin" related is "interesting" in a sick, evil, self serving, privileged sort of way.

All I know is the victim of the assault (errr, "alleged" assault--wink-wink), 49 yrs. old Wojciech Cieszkowski is a survivor of the Boston Marathon bombing in 2013 and he seems to be pretty credible. He just wanted to park his car. Evidently Baldwin had other ideas.

Or so it seems...
My Bad! I come here for no other reason but to simply release some pent up tension. Okay... maybe to get a dig in at the libs and such too.

Either way, I've been trying to juggle a recent move, unpacking included. There's copious amounts of stuff to unpack and less space than before to put it in. It seems that when one goes through life one tends to accumulate "stuff" or "wealth" as my father used to call it. I find myself struggling to suggest that much of the "stuff" I've unpacked isn't "wealth" let alone usable for anything other than scrap iron or ground fill. Either way I'm almost unpacked and am in the process of settling in.

I had to do the move thing. I had to sell the house and move from that once sparsely populated "neighborhood" turned cramped development and return to a somewhat more laid back lifestyle with some pleasant, unfettered breathing room between me and my "neighbors". Things just weren't going all that well in that cramped neighborhood. I'm not a "homeowner's association" type of guy who will allow folks I don't even know tell me where, when and how I need to put or store my trash cans. I'm also not inclined to attend meetings to discuss why our HOA dues keep increasing each year while the HOA service continues to decrease. It's never ceased to amaze me how guv'ment finds the cracks in humanity, in life to seep through and contaminate a once fine environment with their Machiavellian ideas. Government is the ultimate, all consuming slime mold of humanity. Give them an inch and they'll eventually consume you, if you let them. Fortunately, I moved myself as their target. I'm no longer a part of that infestation, no longer their crop to consume.

Once we got somewhat settled (i.e. trucks unloaded and sorting through boxes at the "new" place) I took it upon myself to dig the trench for the Cat 6 and the Video Cable from the house to an unattached shop. It's up and running, I'm up and running and all things considered, LIFE's GOOD! Again...

...except for the State, National and Global politics. That crap's still alive and festering.

But now that thing's are starting to settle down on the "home front" I'm going to get around to the old blogging, brass collecting, reloading, plinking, placering life I was trying to stay on top of in that crowded suburbia of humanity known as a "neighborhood". I left some good neighbors behind but that's on them. They shared their angst with me as much as I shared mine with them. I remedied our problem.

Now, it's time to get back into the whole bass-ackwards politico scene. I did have to include a disclaimer re: comments to this blog because I had to remove a few over the past couple of weeks. There's no need for threats of violence on me or my family nor do I have any desire to "meet" anyone somewhere. We'll just leave things as they are. I'm here, I'm not going anywhere unless Google shuts me out like Yahell and Farcebook did over the years.

Anyways, I'm going to start throwing stuff on here again for craps, giggles and simply to share.

Enjoy!
But then most of us already know that, many of us don't want to admit it. Every morning I wake up and read the local, state, national and international/global news I can't help but feel the angst, the overt disdain for our country, us, our government by everyone involved. I read then "news", the world's events more than I watch the idiot box. I'm not one to pull up a chair, pour myself a cup of coffee and turn on television just to watch and listen to the talking heads of newsrooms everywhere who ask questions of their guests then talk over the top of them when the guest(s) try to answer the questions. That's the entire liberal "news" staff of the world and most definitely it is or is quickly becoming the Hannity, Beck, O'Reilly, Ingraham and more standard operating procedures relating to "interviewing" and "discussions". Even Tucker Carlson's starting to do it...

When a "reporter", a "news caster", left or right asks a question I'd love to hear the answer given to the news media by the person they're posing the question to. The whole, unadulterated answer not the chopped up, mixed up exchange via a heated "he said, she said" shouting match between the "reporter" and the "guest".

Nah, instead of putting myself through that crap I'll jump online, I'll pull up a chair and I'll read as many different "news" sites and web sites as I can stand to read each morning to glean and subsequently cull out the information I'm seeking. And that reading includes the comments by fellow readers like myself who follow those online, in print "discussions". Besides, my hearing isn't the best these days so when I try to listen to two or more idiots trying to talk over one another on a "news debate" I shut the darned idiot box off in frustration. Back when I debated on the debate teams in High School and College I remember "Robert's Rules of Order" and remember having to conform to the local, district, state, national and international rules we were required to follow so as to ensure a fully informative, non-confrontational formal discussion. Conformance to those rules helped to established arguments for both sides from which the viewers/listeners could weigh out the facts presented, the relevant rebuttals and make a somewhat more educated decision or come to a more personally relevant conclusion relating to the topic(s) being discussed.

It was a rather simple practice that most anyone who was watching or listening could walk away at the end of the "debate/discussion" and more effectively form their own conclusion(s) regarding the topic(s) being discussed.

Either way, I'm thinking our country's in trouble. In BIG trouble. We've reduced ourselves (myself included) to name calling, finger pointing, slobber slathering mutants who have little or no respect for each other, let alone our true enemy(ies). Let there be no doubt that our nation, our mighty fine United States of America as we know it is in very, very deep trouble. I'm a product of the early 50's, raised in the 60's and became an adult in the 70's. I've seen changes, I've participated in effecting changes as well as resisting changes.

I've never seen it happening at this level with this intensity and with so much of it coming to us from the global community(ies).

We're being attacked globally. Not so much on our streets, in our own homes, etc. via guns, knives, bombs, chemicals and more but by the global elite, the press, the mercenary mobs, the dis-information campaigns forwarded by ALL politicos, partisan or not! They've recruited our neighbors, our enemies... they've even recruited us to do their dirty work for them. Many of those attacks, those "threats" have evolved past the "campaign" stages into whole blown programs, activities, cultural mutations are dumbing and numbing us down to the point where we're accepting the chaos as a normal day by day "fact of life".

Nah, I'm not proud of what we've evolved to nor am I looking forward to more of this "evolution of society" of sorts. But then again I probably won't have to worry about it much longer. I'll be hanging around for the next thirty years (maximum) but most likely the next ten or twenty years at best.

My whole intent of this particular "rant" of mine was to post links to sites and "information" I received in my emails over the past two days... but why? Why would I participate in sharing that information. It's more of a "dis-information" campaign being played out by others who seek dominance over us, over our lives. In essence wouldn't that be playing into the hands of those who wish to destroy us. Wouldn't that be sharing with you all of the information you might have or might not have yet received from those very same folks who sent it to me already? As I wrote this vent, this rant I decided in this last paragraph that I wasn't going to post the links. I'm just going to RANT.

This is my RANT for today.

IMHO
