In Memory Of...

...Shane Wyrsch, United States Forest Service Law Enforcement Officer, husband and father. Rest in peace Shane, you're going to be sorely missed. (Photo is a USFS file photo).

I hate saying those words. Especially when they relate to someone I've known for years. I worked with Shane on several assignments. We'd call each other and chat, pass along information, check up on each other. He'd always ask about my son. He got to know my son when my son was helping me teach a man tracking course that Shane was attending in the Morton area. Shane was concerned when my son went to Pakistan... the Middle East and was relieved when he learned my son was no longer in the military. He wanted to see my son become a law enforcement officer for the Forest Service.

When Shane and I worked together we would always get the job done. Because of politics, budget, etc. you can't always say that about every job assignment in this business.

Several of our assignments would take us weeks to complete... weeks away from home. On the hottest, muggiest days of the year... when the woods were full of bugs, bees and bad guys we'd follow helicopters all over the state in search of those less than legal cash crops that were being grown in our forests.

Shane loved his job, he loved the outdoors and he loved his family.

He was a big man... "powerfully built"... not one to mess with. His shoulders were huge, his arms the size of most men's thighs, his grip vice like. Yet, he moved up and down the mountains of Washington State effortlessly, trail or no trail.

Shane Wyrsch was killed by a drunk... an "alleged" drunk... the night before last as he was travelling home on Highway 410 just outside of Buckley, WA. I drove past the site yesterday while I was heading to Enumclaw for a meeting. I saw the spent road flares, the paint on the road put there by the investigators, the tire marks and gouges. I remember thinking to myself that the road must have been blocked for awhile simply because of the remnants of the flare patterns.

As I passed by the site I thought about the accident, the people involved and hoped no one was seriously injured but knew better because of the condition of the scene.

I had no idea this was the site where Shane was killed... I didn't even know Shane was dead yet. Not until I was told by a good friend when I walked through the door at the meeting.

I don't like drunk drivers.

Shane didn't either.

This is such an avoidable tragedy.

Here's the story as told by "King 5 News":

"U.S. Forest Service officer killed in crash

Troopers say the driver had a suspended license

BUCKLEY, Wash. – A suspected drunk driver involved in a horrific crash that killed a respected law enforcement officer should never have been on the road.

The Washington State Patrol says U.S. Forest Service Officer Shane Wyrsch was driving home on Highway 410 near Buckley Monday night when a pickup crossed the center line and slammed into him head-on. Witnesses say the man who hit Wyrsch was driving very erratically. Troopers say he was likely drunk, and driving with a suspended license.

All that's left of Shane Wyrch's truck is a mangled pile of metal.

U.S. Forest Service

Shayne Wyrsch was killed in a head-on crash near Buckley Monday night.
The 16-year veteran patrolled the Mount Baker Snoqualmie National Forest and the communities nearby.

"Each and every one is like a brother, and losing Shane will be very similar to losing a family member," says Enumclaw Police Officer Don Banner.

"He lived in this community and anything he could do to further make it a good place to live, he never hesitated."

Wyrsch died Tuesday morning, leaving behind a wife, two children and countless colleagues.

A spokesperson says the entire U.S. Forest Service family is devastated by Wyrsch's passing. The State Patrol plans to investigate this as a vehicular homicide."

Dammit all anyways!!!

This has to stop!

If you take the negative campaigning out of politics you won't have politics as we know it today.

Hillary Rodham Clinton--- she needs to be shown the door--- out. She's an emotionless animal. Her mouth smiles but her eyes don't.

Besides, no one knows what she's doing. She says one thing one day (with a very bad southern drawl I might add) and says the opposite thing the very next day. Her political machine is mining negative information on all of her competition (including Obama's unpaid parking violations) and she's skirting the difficult questions thrown her way by some of those conservative interviewers who might still have some semblance of a spine.

For instance, Whitewater! Why was it that Bill Clinton just happened to fire 93 federal prosecutors approximately a month before information was going to be released regarding his and Hillary's involvement in the Whitewater scandal? That's a bit curious wouldn't you think.

Oh yeah, executive privelege. They served at his pleasure. I forgot.

When Bush's staff reviews and releases 9 federal prosecutors there's an uproar--- a Democrat "look what he's done now" furor!

There's calls for more investigations, more committees, more probes, more waste of our tax money to further muddy those already muddied waters.

I'm sick of it. I know this much, I'm not a republican nor a democrat. I used to vote for the person. I've voted for republicans, democrats, independents, libertarians--- all kinds and shapes.

However given the Murtha, Pelosi, Schumer, Reid, Clinton, Kennedy--- the list can go on forever--- agendas I'm not voting democrat again. I may not vote republican all the way down the line but I'll swear right now that I'll definitely not vote democrat. I'll do everything in my power to defeat the democrats. And I'm just one of many who feels this way!

One of many!

These most recent democrat distortions of truth are sickening, frightening, polarizing, self serving antics designed to simply GET POWER--- to seize the day!

We, the citizens of this fine country are not adequately being represented and all who are force feeding us this rubbish should be held accountable in the end.

We sent these politicos to Washington D.C. to pass legislation, create law, enhance our standards. We pay them very good money to make good decisions, do their job and not succumb to distractions or serve personal agendas. We ensure they're well compensated for their travel and lodging while they're "representing" us.

So, why aren't they getting the job done? Why are they voting on "non-binding" legislation that has nothing to do with what they were sent to do? Why are they attaching pork barrel attachments to otherwise sound bills?

Why are they muddying these waters?

And why aren't we calling foul and firing each and every one of them?

My humble opinion, for what it's worth.

It's a matter of choice, isn't it?

What are our choices? What does islam have in store for us?

Me, I'm a Christian. Maybe not a good one, not a devout one but I am still a Christian.

I'm not a church going, bible quoting, everyday active Christian but I am still a Christian. I was raised with Christian morals, Christian beliefs, Christian values and I passed those along to my children.

No matter the faith Christianity seems to have a common thread--- peace.

Oh sure you have the fanatics, the "spin off" groups, those folks who are really "out there" serving their own personal causes under the guise of Christianity. Every religion has those.

It's just some religions have an abundance of those groups--- those "fundamenalists", "hard liners". islam seems to be one of those religions that's driven by these folks. Wherever there's a conflict today, wherever in the globe there's slaughter, killing, torture, rape you'll find a connection to islam, the religion of peace.

Why the "moderates" of this religion condone these "radicals", "fanatics"--- "fundamentalists" is becoming more evident with each passing incident. These fundamentalist muslims are islam's army of conversion.

They are doing the dirty work for those more "moderate" muslims, the one's who claim they are the "peaceful, tolerant" muslims that islam is all about.

With the silent support of the moderates, the fundametalist muslims continue to impose sharia law. Converting, dhimmifying wherever they can. Demanding concessions, slaughtering those who refuse to convert, those who denounce islam, those who resist sharia law and all that islam stands for.

It's no surprise that imams and muftis throughout the world are speaking out with more angst, more urgency than ever before. They have the backing of the moderates and the strength of the fundamentalists. They are encouraging their fellow muslims to act out, to impose their customs, their beliefs, their "religion" on the rest of the world.

They're advocating the destruction of the United States, conversion of all jews and christians--- dhimmification of those who fail to convert--- slaughter of those who refuse to subject and those whose religious beliefs are not favorably mentioned in the qur'an.

Americans have a price tag on our heads wherever we go. Primarily Christian Americans.

Nope, I'm not one of those mainstream, every day practicing Christians but I am a Christian.

I won't convert and I won't be dhimmified, which leaves the muslims no other choice for me. It's a pretty simple answer, isn't it.

What about you?

(What happened to the "Discuss" option?)

You've seen that sentence at the bottom of the "news" posts on Yahoo haven't you? The one that links to several paragraphs explaining why the "Discuss" option was removed from the Yahoo boards.

I'll spare you some linking and reading.

In short Yahoo management states the option was removed so as to provide for the creation of a more impartial, moderated (read censored), less informative alternative to the previously candid, frank discourse that occurred daily.

Although I wasn't addicted to discussing my view of world events with others after reading certain Yahoo posts, I did "Discuss" them--- quite often. And boy, it was apparent that islam was not to be discussed in a "bad light". Hence, the truth about islam was rarely told by those in the forums who chose to defend it's very existence.

However, I wasn't there for islam's defense. I was there to expose some of the fallacies of islam, some of the lies, the deceptions, the greed. Some of those truths shared with me by some of you.

I always supported my discussions with links to facts about islam. Of course, the bulk of those links--- well, let's just say they were condemned as "lies" by those mooslums arguing in defense of their satanic, islamic, bloodthirsty cult.

As these frank, candid discussions continued the mooslum's angst would increase in proportion to the facts and information revealed. Invariably, this angst would reach it's peak, resulting in complaints to Yahoo by the packs of mooslums frequenting that particular board. Those complaints quite often resulted in the (temporary) individual revocation of the "Discuss" option for the conveyor of facts.

This tactic effectively cleared the way for those "offended" mooslums packs to lie, deceive, berate and belittle the remaining readers as those particular muslims do.

Anyway, for what it's worth that's my take on this most recent little annoyance on Yahoo.

World History- As It Really Happened!

Or as it's told over at The Irate Nation!

You gotta love it!

"Humans originally existed as members of small bands of nomadic hunters/gatherers. They lived on deer in the mountains during the summer and would go to the coast and live on fish and lobster in the winter. The two most important events in all of history were the invention of beer and the invention of the wheel. The wheel was invented to get man to the beer.

These were the foundations of modern civilization and together were the catalyst for the splitting of humanity into two distinct subgroups:

1. Liberals; and

2. Conservatives.

Once beer was discovered, it required grain and that was the beginning of agriculture. Neither the glass bottle nor aluminum can were invented yet, so while our early humans were sitting around waiting for them to be invented, they just stayed close to the brewery. That’s how villages were formed.

Some men spent their days tracking and killing animals to B-B-Q at night while they were drinking beer. This was the beginning of what is known as the Conservative movement.

Other men who were weaker and less skilled at hunting learned to live off the conservatives by showing up for the nightly B-B-Q’s and doing the sewing, fetching, and hair dressing. This was the beginning of the Liberal movement.

Some of these liberal men eventually evolved into women. The rest became known as girliemen.

Some noteworthy liberal achievements include the domestication of cats, the invention of group therapy, group hugs, and the concept of Democratic voting to decide how to divide the meat and beer that conservatives provided.

Over the years conservatives came to be symbolized by the largest, most powerful land animal on earth, the elephant. Liberals are symbolized by the jackass.

Modern liberals like imported beer (with lime added), but most prefer white wine or imported bottled water. They eat raw fish but like their beef well done. Sushi, tofu, and French food are standard liberal fare.

Another interesting evolutionary side note:

-Most of their women have higher testosterone levels than their men.

-Most social workers, personal injury attorneys, journalists, dreamers in Hollywood and group therapists are liberals.

-Liberals invented the designated hitter rule because it wasn’t fair to make the pitcher also bat.

Conservatives drink domestic beer. They eat red meat and still provide for their women. Conservatives are big-game hunters, rodeo cowboys, lumberjacks, construction workers, firemen, medical doctors, police officers, corporate executives, athletes, soldiers, sailors, airmen, marines and generally anyone who works productively. Conservatives who own companies hire other conservatives who want to work for a living.

Liberals produce little or nothing. They like to govern the producers and decide what to do with the production. Liberals believe Europeans are more enlightened than Americans. That is why most of the liberals remained in Europe when conservatives were coming to America. They crept in after the Wild West was tamed and created a business of trying to get more for nothing.

Here ends today’s lesson in world history:

It should be noted that a Liberal may have a momentary urge to angrily respond to the above before forwarding it.

A Conservative will simply laugh and be so convinced of the absolute truth of this history that it will be forwarded immediately to other true believers and to more liberals just to piss them off.

So, share the story!

Gone for a bit.

Hey all, I've been gone for a bit. My work has been consuming my time and like it or not I have to pay the bills.

So work is a priority right now.

To those who kept coming back on random visits, thanks for staying on.

I'm hoping to be able to post more in the future.

The "Mad Mufti of Australia!"

He's at it again! Check out this article at The Australian — The Nation.

What's most interesting about the whole article is the fact that the misgivings expressed by members of the Lebanese Muslim Association, (LMA) through their association's president, Tom Zreika had little to do with the sheik's absurd, off the wall statements in support of fundamental islam.

Instead, their concerns had more to do with sheik Taj Din al-Hilali's political statements possibly jeopardizing Lebanese Muslim candidates chances in Australia's upcoming March elections.

"We will tolerate it if it's about islam, but if it's in relation to the coming election then we are not going to tolerate it," Mr Zreika said. "It's becoming a bit of a freak show. People come just to see what he's going to say next."

There was very little outcry by Zreika or, for that matter other members of the muslim community after Hilali gave a controversial sermon last year at the popular Lakemba Mosque... a mosque owned by the Lebanese Muslim Association.

In that particular sermon Hilali compared immodestly dressed women to "uncovered meat", claiming such women encourage rape.

After his remarks were met with some international clamor he went into a two month, self imposed "exile" (read "vacation") to Mecca and Egypt. He recently returned to Australia.

According to the report found at "The Astralian"---

"In an appearance on Egyptian television this month, (Hilali's) comments in Arabic were translated as saying that Muslims were more entitled to live in Australia than Anglo-Saxons sent as convicts in chains, and that Westerners were liars.

Sheik Hilali responded by blaming the media and said he was misunderstood."

Wasn't that the same excuse he used for his "uncovered meat" remarks?

As mentioned and as expected there appears to be little or no condemnation from within the global muslim community directed to Hilali regarding his volatile and incredulous remarks.

Instead, there's local muslim concerns that his remarks might be too political in nature, drawing unnecessary attention to those muslim candidates who just happen to be running for office.

Once again, hypocrisy and appeasement--- the islamic way.

But where's that tolerance they keep talking about?

Remember, Hilali's the Australian Mufti!

And damn! He certainly is a freak, I'll give him that.

I'm in total agreement with Zreika there!
