It's a matter of choice, isn't it?

What are our choices? What does islam have in store for us?

Me, I'm a Christian. Maybe not a good one, not a devout one but I am still a Christian.

I'm not a church going, bible quoting, everyday active Christian but I am still a Christian. I was raised with Christian morals, Christian beliefs, Christian values and I passed those along to my children.

No matter the faith Christianity seems to have a common thread--- peace.

Oh sure you have the fanatics, the "spin off" groups, those folks who are really "out there" serving their own personal causes under the guise of Christianity. Every religion has those.

It's just some religions have an abundance of those groups--- those "fundamenalists", "hard liners". islam seems to be one of those religions that's driven by these folks. Wherever there's a conflict today, wherever in the globe there's slaughter, killing, torture, rape you'll find a connection to islam, the religion of peace.

Why the "moderates" of this religion condone these "radicals", "fanatics"--- "fundamentalists" is becoming more evident with each passing incident. These fundamentalist muslims are islam's army of conversion.

They are doing the dirty work for those more "moderate" muslims, the one's who claim they are the "peaceful, tolerant" muslims that islam is all about.

With the silent support of the moderates, the fundametalist muslims continue to impose sharia law. Converting, dhimmifying wherever they can. Demanding concessions, slaughtering those who refuse to convert, those who denounce islam, those who resist sharia law and all that islam stands for.

It's no surprise that imams and muftis throughout the world are speaking out with more angst, more urgency than ever before. They have the backing of the moderates and the strength of the fundamentalists. They are encouraging their fellow muslims to act out, to impose their customs, their beliefs, their "religion" on the rest of the world.

They're advocating the destruction of the United States, conversion of all jews and christians--- dhimmification of those who fail to convert--- slaughter of those who refuse to subject and those whose religious beliefs are not favorably mentioned in the qur'an.

Americans have a price tag on our heads wherever we go. Primarily Christian Americans.

Nope, I'm not one of those mainstream, every day practicing Christians but I am a Christian.

I won't convert and I won't be dhimmified, which leaves the muslims no other choice for me. It's a pretty simple answer, isn't it.

What about you?

(What happened to the "Discuss" option?)

You've seen that sentence at the bottom of the "news" posts on Yahoo haven't you? The one that links to several paragraphs explaining why the "Discuss" option was removed from the Yahoo boards.

I'll spare you some linking and reading.

In short Yahoo management states the option was removed so as to provide for the creation of a more impartial, moderated (read censored), less informative alternative to the previously candid, frank discourse that occurred daily.

Although I wasn't addicted to discussing my view of world events with others after reading certain Yahoo posts, I did "Discuss" them--- quite often. And boy, it was apparent that islam was not to be discussed in a "bad light". Hence, the truth about islam was rarely told by those in the forums who chose to defend it's very existence.

However, I wasn't there for islam's defense. I was there to expose some of the fallacies of islam, some of the lies, the deceptions, the greed. Some of those truths shared with me by some of you.

I always supported my discussions with links to facts about islam. Of course, the bulk of those links--- well, let's just say they were condemned as "lies" by those mooslums arguing in defense of their satanic, islamic, bloodthirsty cult.

As these frank, candid discussions continued the mooslum's angst would increase in proportion to the facts and information revealed. Invariably, this angst would reach it's peak, resulting in complaints to Yahoo by the packs of mooslums frequenting that particular board. Those complaints quite often resulted in the (temporary) individual revocation of the "Discuss" option for the conveyor of facts.

This tactic effectively cleared the way for those "offended" mooslums packs to lie, deceive, berate and belittle the remaining readers as those particular muslims do.

Anyway, for what it's worth that's my take on this most recent little annoyance on Yahoo.

The "Mad Mufti of Australia!"

He's at it again! Check out this article at The Australian — The Nation.

What's most interesting about the whole article is the fact that the misgivings expressed by members of the Lebanese Muslim Association, (LMA) through their association's president, Tom Zreika had little to do with the sheik's absurd, off the wall statements in support of fundamental islam.

Instead, their concerns had more to do with sheik Taj Din al-Hilali's political statements possibly jeopardizing Lebanese Muslim candidates chances in Australia's upcoming March elections.

"We will tolerate it if it's about islam, but if it's in relation to the coming election then we are not going to tolerate it," Mr Zreika said. "It's becoming a bit of a freak show. People come just to see what he's going to say next."

There was very little outcry by Zreika or, for that matter other members of the muslim community after Hilali gave a controversial sermon last year at the popular Lakemba Mosque... a mosque owned by the Lebanese Muslim Association.

In that particular sermon Hilali compared immodestly dressed women to "uncovered meat", claiming such women encourage rape.

After his remarks were met with some international clamor he went into a two month, self imposed "exile" (read "vacation") to Mecca and Egypt. He recently returned to Australia.

According to the report found at "The Astralian"---

"In an appearance on Egyptian television this month, (Hilali's) comments in Arabic were translated as saying that Muslims were more entitled to live in Australia than Anglo-Saxons sent as convicts in chains, and that Westerners were liars.

Sheik Hilali responded by blaming the media and said he was misunderstood."

Wasn't that the same excuse he used for his "uncovered meat" remarks?

As mentioned and as expected there appears to be little or no condemnation from within the global muslim community directed to Hilali regarding his volatile and incredulous remarks.

Instead, there's local muslim concerns that his remarks might be too political in nature, drawing unnecessary attention to those muslim candidates who just happen to be running for office.

Once again, hypocrisy and appeasement--- the islamic way.

But where's that tolerance they keep talking about?

Remember, Hilali's the Australian Mufti!

And damn! He certainly is a freak, I'll give him that.

I'm in total agreement with Zreika there!
