Regarding obl’s recent passing and subsequent service as fish food all I can say is good riddance! I’d preferred to have heard or read that obl was taken alive and whisked away somewhere whilst the whole world believed he was dead. If for no other reason but to allow our “researchers” an opportunity to tinker on him from time to time… you know a tooth here, an ear there, a toenail here a fingernail there… etc. I also believe a video recording of obl held in captivity begging for his life as he’s being sodomized by a very large boar would be one huge best seller in a matter of hours… it’d probably outsell the top box office shows of recent past and if released on al-jazeera first would rocket Hillary's favorite news source to the very top of the list!

But in the end it appears it just ain't going to happen that way. I truly do believe obl was snuffed and snuffed good.

Personally, I think we all got cheated by his death. But crap happens.

And now his “family”… his son, omar… making a scene about his insane, piece of crap, blood thirsty, mass murdering father getting snuffed... about his piece of crap father’s impromptu burial at sea!

The very fact that this omar guy keeps mentioning that "It is unacceptable--humanely and religiously--to dispose of a person with such importance and status among his people, by throwing his body into the sea in that way, which demeans and humiliates his family and his supporters and which challenges religious provisions and feelings of hundreds of millions of Muslims" simply confirms that islam is, for the most part an evil that needs to be confronted once and for all.

One thing your president obummer and I do agree with is that those who complain about the disposal of the maggot obl's body and who continue to suggest islam is a religion of peace need to have their heads examined. According to son omar, obl was revered by "hundreds of millions" of mooslums for the atrocities he committed!

Now I don't know, I'm a pretty slow guy on the uptake sometimes but that's pretty much a testament to that there previously discussed "religion of peace" crap, eh!

the liberal assault on free speech expands, intensifies...

Obama, Sharpton, Jay Rockefeller (WV senator) and many other left wing liberals are encouraging the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to censor and tighten up the regulations on free speech in this country. They're calling for the FCC to remove conservative Rush Limbaugh's radio talk show from the airwaves of the Fox network. Sharpton wants it banned and is calling for stricter standards and guidelines to regulate "free" speech.

Sharpton is encouraging the FCC to take Rush Limbaugh off the air because of "perceived offenses toward racial minorities and other groups".

Perceived!!! Hey Al, just exactly what are those perceived offenses toward racial minorities and other groups you keep vaguely bringing up? Cite them if you're going to demand the destruction of certain freedoms, the censoring of information. Bring them out in the open so we all can become informed, so we all can candidly discuss them.

I'm believing Sharpton's latest call for censorship, for silencing his competition is because Al's most likely upset with Rush, et.al. on Fox. After all, they're literally slaughtering their competition! Rush's and Fox news viewership grows larger by the month. Sharpton is one of their competitors... albeit a tiny, tiny one. That's actually stretching it. In the sense that yeah, Sharpton has his little left winged, racially slanted gossip show that airs on some forlorn stations out there he is, by definition, competition. But then in that same sense so are the little neighborhood youth football 4th graders when they share the same playing field with their college counterparts. Sharpton's ratings can't seem to get out of the swamp. So again in the sense of the word "competition" I guess he can claim that. But really? c'mon, get real. He's a loser in the ratings wars. I'm believing only his relatives "listen" to him and at that they probably tune their radios in and turn down the volume so they won't have to listen his incessant rants and raves.

However, it's not just Sharpton calling for this loss of freedom. We also have West Virginia Senator Jay Rockefeller calling for Fox and MSNBC's head. He wants them not only censored but removed entirely... 'Out. Off. End. Goodbye.'

In a senate hearing Rockefeller claimed the removal of Fox News and MSNBC from the airways entirely would "be a big favor to political discourse; to our ability to do our work here in Congress; and to the American people, to be able to talk with each other and have some faith in their government and, more importantly, in their future."

In short Rockefeller is saying we should be fed what liberals want us to hear, not what needs to be heard. He wants to keep us in the dark, give us only that information which will benefit the liberal reshaping of America. Afford the politicos the opportunity to do their work in congress without interference from those who disagree. Dummy up the population... us who know no better... who are ignorant and simply don't understand. Dummy us up and impose upon us the will of the government and the duty to follow that will, their direction without question, without hesitation.

Now those are some truly scary thoughts Rockefeller offered up at that hearing. It makes you wonder what truly is happening in our world, our country behind the scenes, behind closed doors.

More importantly Obama is wholly in their camp.

As mentioned in the previously cited Newsmax.com article he's expressed concern that we, the fine citizens of this once great nation are simply fueling the "sad state of political discourse" solely to distract, divert and even distort the information for the purpose of entertainment rather than "empowerment and emancipation".

Yes, I can see where they want to take this country. I can see how "empowerment and emancipation" will be divvied out only to those who blindly follow without hesitation, without question the liberal cause.

I fear for our children's future. I fear for their freedom, their right to exist without government interference, influence, indoctrination.

The Obama regime has taken another step in their efforts to silence their many, many critics. The most recent has been the assault on "WordPress" (blogetry)... 73,000 blogs removed as a result of federal regime censorship.

Taken down by the DOJ. The same DOJ who refused to press charges against the New Black Panthers members for their blatant and reprehensible intimidation of legal voters waiting to vote. The same DOJ who filed a lawsuit against the state of Arizona for having the balls, the guts to enforce the federal laws on the books and protect our borders, our freedoms from illegal entries... a duty to protect and serve us, the citizens of this once great nation that the federal government refuses to do.

We're becoming victims of a growing anarchy. It's an intentional growth... well thought out, by design.

This is an anonymous post to another blog from a very rational individual... it makes total sense and paints a really ugly picture of our current state of affairs. In short... y'all have been duped!

Really it is amazing nerve to be the President of the United States and know that you can look the American people in the eye and lie to them with the knowledge that a complicit media will either be so ignorant of the constitution or so lock step with your agenda that they won't challenge you!

Remember the prosperity of the 80's when Reagan lead and convinced the congress into accepting his plans? Remember the prosperity of the 90's? Things really got hot after the Republicans took control of the House (constitutional purse strings) in 1995. By 1998 we had budget surpluses and our economy was on fire. By 2001, a natural down swing began and just as the constitution allowed, the leader, Bush asked the Congress to follow his agenda and create a business friendly environment using tax breaks and tax cuts. We managed to keep our economy sailing even though we had 2 wars and natural disasters to set us back. By 2004, the climate in our country was changing. Folks against the wars were disgruntled and began roaring for change. Americans weren't worried about a glowing economy and allowed the DEMS to take the house. By 2006 the DEMS had both houses and Barney Frank and company held the purse strings. They had some marvelous ideas … ratcheting up spending for their pet projects and forcing Fanny and Freddy to make loans to folks who had no means of paying for the money. In 2008, gas prices nearly tripled in a 4 month span and all of us were tapped out of cash... the poor most completely. The housing crisis exploded and we brought President Obama in to save our world. Just what was he able to convince his Congress to do?

Well, the first thing he did was make sure the folks that borrowed money they could never repay were helped out by those of us who could never afford to borrow the money in the first place. (I am a tax payer but wasn't dumb enough to be seduced by the loan offers of the time) Then, he found a way to force Health Care on us … which folks... read it and find out... raises the cost of health care for folks that pay for it. (me again!) Now, he's going to destroy domestic oil production and put all those folks out of work so that he can get his Congress to pass the Cap and Tax scam!

Folks, the Republicans aren't much better drivers than the DEMS – but let me say this – when your constitutional scholar president stands in front of you and smiles as he purposely misleads you – PLEASE don't let him get away with it! The Republicans drive poorly, but the DEMS are the ones who put the car in the ditch and the DEMS are the ones who maxed out the American Tax Payer Credit Card trying to fix the wreck with patch work parts that are going to fall off as soon as we get a few miles down the road. SHAME on you Mr. President and shame on all of us for being so ignorant that we would allow him to speak falsely without challenge."

You Just Have To Love It!

Here's a copy of an actual passport application letter that was forwarded to me by a good friend the other day. He did not write it, he had it sent to him by someone else. I have no idea who the author is but I have to admit it's darned good! The problem is that it's so true!!!


Dear Mrs. Ms. or Sir:


I'm in the process of renewing my passport and still cannot believe this.. How is it that Radio Shack has my address and telephone number and knows that I bought a cable TV from them in 1987 (22 years ago), and yet, the Federal Government is still asking me where I was born and on what date.
For Christ sakes, do you guys do this by hand? Ever heard of computers? My birth date you have in my social security file. It's on EVERY income tax form I've filed for the past 30 years. It's on my Medicare health insurance card and my driver's license, It's on the last eight damn passports I've had, It's on every stupid customs declaration form I've had to fill out before being allowed off the plane for the last 30 years. And it's on all those census forms that we have to do at election times. Would somebody please take note, once and for all, that my mother's name is Maryanne, my father's name is Robert and I'm reasonably confident that neither name is likely to change between now and when I die. Between you an' me, I've had enough of this bureaucratic bullshit! You send the application to my house, then you ask me for my f______g address. What is going on? You must have a gang of bureaucratic Neanderthal morons working there! Look at my damn picture. Do I look like Bin Laden? And "No," I don't want to dig up Yasser Arafat, for shit sakes. I just want to go and park my ass on a sandy beach.

And would someone please tell me, why would you give a damn whether I plan on visiting a farm in the next 15 days? If I ever got the urge to do something weird to a chicken or a goat, believe you me, I'd sure as hell not want to tell anyone!

Well, I have to go now because I have to go to the other end of the city and get another f______ g copy of my birth certificate - to the tune of $100. Would it be so difficult to have all the services in the same area so I could get a new passport the same day? Nooooo, that would require planning and organization. And it would be too logical for the f_______g government.
You'd rather have us running all over the place like chickens with our heads cut off. Then, we have to find some asshole to confirm that it's really me on the damn picture - you know, the one where we're not allowed to smile. Hey, you know why we can't smile? We're totally pissed off!

I have served in the military for something over 35 years and have had security clearances up the yingyang. health care reform???

I was reading some health highlights for December 11, 2009 today and there was this one particular highlight that bothered me a lot...

"Senate Bill Would Let Insurers Limit Annual Medical Costs

Patient advocates are upset about language in the Senate health care bill that would allow insurers to put yearly limits on medical care costs for people with expensive-to-treat illnesses such as cancer.

The bill would permit annual limits, as long as they're not "unreasonable," the Associated Press reported. But there's no actual definition of what level of limits would be permitted.

Such limits would have been banned under legislation passed by the Senate health committee last summer. However, a weakened version of that provision is in the bill the Senate is now considering.

The change surprised officials at the American Cancer Society Action Network, who said they haven't been able to get a satisfactory explanation, the AP reported.

"We don't know who put it in, or why it was put in," said group policy expert Stephen Finan."

The current health "care" discussions and proposals happening in the "other Washington" are really, really catching my eye. I'm not sure where anyone else stands relating to the proposed health "care" reform ideas being debated in this country but I think putting yearly limits on payment for care paid out by the insurance companies smacks of favors and sellouts to those companies. I'm of the belief that if there are to be any limits placed on anything relating to health care have those limits be for payouts relating to litigated monetary awards and settlements! Certainly not on yearly limits of those health care costs an insurance company pays out annually.

That's just another not so subtle attempt to create those alleged death lists. Cutting off care for the terminally ill or others in need of specialized care simply because it's too expensive isn't and should never be an option!

That IS unreasonable!

As the AP article mentioned, those limits were banned by last summer's legislation and now the politicos are trying to sneak it past us again in this boondoggled universal health care fiasco.

What gives? Why are our "representatives", those politicos we sent to D.C. to represent us... why are they trying to ram this legislation, this poorly written vessel of pork down our throats?

If there's to be universal health care do it right! Take your time, don't set a timeline on it. Gather your experts, your reasonable and practical people together (if they exist) and create a proposal that not only makes sense but can be fairly and reasonably applied to every citizen of this fine country without limitations. If you can't do that then get out of the way and let others do it. Don't do what you're doing! Don't piecemeal something together, don't cater to the special interests of lobbyists, insurance companies and the health care industry, don't play politics with our health... don't effect change just to effect change... it doesn't make sense.

Represent us, the citizens of this fine country who entrusted you to represent us not them, those who stand to gain politically and monetarily if or when the legislation passes.

This stuff simply makes no sense outside of greed!

I read an interesting post over at the Blue Crab Boulevard site this morning. Gaius posts an interesting suggestion that the "left" in this country is far removed from liberal. It's argued that those politicos who comprise the current left "are more authoritarian than the culture that the Woodstock generation rebelled against."

I'm inclined to agree. I've thought this for quite some time... that the "left", the current politicos in power are beyond liberal. Granted, some of their ideologies were spawned in liberalism (social health care, immigrant amnesty, cap and trade, global warming, etc.) but that's where it ends.

Step back and take a look at what's happening. Peel back the rhetoric, the glossy spin by the media, the veil of deceit. This particular political administration is building a foundation of control! A foundation that will support total, tyrannical social and economic dependence. A foundation to support subtle (for now) yet suffocating government influence in our daily lives.

This government is not "liberal" or "conservative" as we know it. They tapped into the liberal base of this fine nation to garnish support for their overall agenda and got it with promises yet to be realized. They tapped into that base to divide, conquer and control... to deflect from their true agenda. Their agenda was not created for us, the citizens. It's not designed to be a four or eight year ride and it's certainly not a new, innovative theme. The basic plan is clear... control, AUTHORITY!

Given their current agenda, they propose that the government feeds off of communal wealth, the government shall provide to the populace what the government deems necessary, the government shall deny to the populace what the government forbids, the government shall punish and tax individual success.

It's quite frankly an agenda of control and authority that we're being force fed. Currently, we're not buying it. We're questioning their intentions, their goals and we need to! We need to continue to question, to deny, to resist this administration's attempts to herd us into their paddocks of authority, control. We're independent sorts with freedom, individuality, independence and pride flowing through our veins.

Why would we give up what we have, what we want, what we know... our dreams, our very existence to blindly follow a shadowy group of politicos into a future of servitude?

Nope, this new LEFT government is not liberal by any means! They're very authoritarian, very controlling and very focused on their goals. Quite frankly they're a threat to our freedoms, our very existence as we know it. To them it's all about control, authority, POWER!

Yeah, we were promised change! Personally, I can live without their proposed changes.
