Time for a lesson.

Run on over to GuyK's blog, "Charming, Just Charming" and catch up on your Sunday sermon.

He's got a great rendition of David, Goliath, Saul and all going.

Go on, bring some religion back into your day!

Bawahaha thanks for the link. I write this kind of stuff tongue in cheek..I am not a believer but I do read the Old Testament because some of it is the greatest prose and poetry ever written. And it has it all..law, adventure, wars, violence, raw sex, adultery, and incest. As a history book it is seriously lacking but as a record of social legend it is the best bar none that has ever been translated into English.

I quit reading the testaments... new and old... awhile ago. When I parted ways with my Catholic upbringing I simply didn't look back at those things.

I guess I'm a bit like you in the sense that I enjoy the stories as just that... stories. Most of them are full of action and pretty entertaining.

I did have fun with your "sermon" so that "tongue and cheek" style you have is quite an entertaining talent.
